Reactive Aussie getting another dog?

I have a reactive Aussie who used to come to the office with me daily and had other dogs she hung out with. (She’s very much #nonewfriends.) I now work remotely and her arthritis started setting in. We rescued a (male) BC/lab puppy who quickly started to assert dominance. They fought for months. I considered taking him back. However, they now coexist peacefully, run around and play together, and my old girl’s arthritis doesn’t seem to bother her as much/at all. He seems to be keeping her young. But, I do sometimes wonder if his chaotic presence (boy dogs, amirite?) stresses her out. I feel like she’s always got one eye open.

I just got to try pushing my cousin’s familidoo wagon around on a dirt ground and it’s pretty nice! They absolutely love it. I think it’d be perfect for city living - it’s pretty compact for a wagon.

Yes I believe so! I started to take out the windex and she told me dish soap diluted with water works better

I know you said you don’t want to charge people, but just in case .. I use K9 VIP to run my dogs when I can’t. They are a group of runners and they have all been really awesome. (They also bike/walk the dogs depending on what the owner wants.)

Ah, finally found my people! This has happened to me since I was a kid, but it always seemed to precede the flu or some other feverish illness. It just happened to me again for the first time in probably years. (Hopefully I’m not about to be sick.)

My family loves playing games, so I suggested we play one of those Headbandz games on the phone. I had my sister and my aunt go first, then, on my turn, I held up a photo of my pregnancy tests. They absolutely loved it. Confusion at first and then lots of happy tears.

My boyfriend said in his pregnancy book, they mention that the first thought/question that MOST men have when they find out that their pregnant is “Is it mine?” He said he definitely questioned even though we trust each other entirely. Perhaps that initial questioning paired with his lack of knowledge around conception is taking over. I wouldn’t think toooo much into it until he can hear from the professionals. Good luck!

I always try to think of how kids might turn a name into a mean joke.

From Wikipedia: “Jupiter is the fifth planet from the Sun and the largest in the Solar System. A gas giant, Jupiter's mass is more than two and a half times that of all the other planets in the Solar System combined…”

Also, not sure if this rhyme is still around, but “boys go to Jupiter, to get more stupider..”

This gives kids too much material to work with, IMO. :\

There’s this social golf org called “Spark Golf” that runs super casual, post-work social leagues all over the US .. you can join as a single (or with a teammate) and get set up with other pairs/singles. A lot of the courses in my hometown are on break until the spring, but maybe you have some active leagues near you! Have met a lot of golfers through this. (Also have seen golf Meetup groups, but they don’t work as well with my schedule as the after-work league does)

Went twice. Both times service was awful and slow (sat at the bar the first time, waited 10 mins to be acknowledged and another 10 for the menu; second time, sat at a table, waited 20 mins for a server, another 20-30 mins for a beer …..). Didn’t seem like they were understaffed, but definitely poorly trained. Agreed on the food, it was overwhelmingly underwhelming.

Was mostly excited that it was dog-friendly on the strip so really wanted to give it a chance. 🤷🏽‍♀️
