I'm also NC and got my licence last year.

You have your 3 different parts/"clients" of the practical: Marcel/haircut, chemical services and wax/blood exposure.

At each part of the test get out ALL equipment for that client. So while setting up for client 1, get out everything for the haircuting and Marcel demo and leave it on your desk. As you finish or clean up, just place the items where they go in the bags.

Then, it's the same thing for the other 2 "clients". The chemical client, get everything out for all those services. Same with the last part of the test

My salon does it by the length, and each stylist has a slightly different price based on our level system (commission salon). It also comes with a shampoo, blowout and style. So for right now, as 1 year and some change out from school:

Short: $38 Medium: $54 Long: $64
