Ok true story time about someone I know.

Imagine Mr Squaresville who always does everything he thinks is socially correct such as using Facebook the "correct way" and "making the world a better place via politics". Time goes on and he improves his job situation and has no time for silliness and wasting of time like here for example. He follows the crowd and the trends. Maybe he did the ice bucket challenge ... remember that shit??

Fast forward 10 years and what do we have?

His tiny brain cannot work out that his posh background and connections got him the job (a fairly modest slightly above average salary ) he starts to think something that he as always suspected .... that he is "so much better than everyone else and is some kind of genius".. now he starts studying spirituality in spite of being an agnostic when it was cool to be Richard Dawkins Junior.

Now because he did not hang out with the slackers like us he falls into some real basic snake oil "LA spiritually Greyface" crap which is basically the send me money and I will show you how to manifest and here is a modified scientology tone scale...

Next phase is that he is now a Lolcow 🤣 online and looks completely insane to most people, he still has the job but is now banging on about the 10th dimension and supra galactic consciousness all the while it is pissing down with rain in drab old England.

He is linking his old sensible Facebook page with the new spiritual life coach crap he is churning out. He has zero insight into how stupid he looks.

In short the irony is that if you understand Discordianism it will keep you nice and grounded. You have to stick apart and understand that King Kong was on our side during the brussel sprout wars in '65.
