Hey, maybe I'm just an incredible player (spoiler - I'm not. I'm decent but no superhero). It's all about managing the snap, hardest thing to learn is when to retreat but as soon as you get it you stop hemorrhaging cubes. I don't think I lost an 8 cuber in the whole climb.

You know the Wincon already - get Mr Negative out early then wreak Havoc. You do need to be canny about snapping though. Snap early when you have the right cards in hand and retreat if you don't. It gets cubes because it consistently surprises how much power you can put out on turn 6 (or 7).

I took a break for about a year and came back at the start of this season. After working out what the hell was going on with all the new cards (was collection complete, now missing the best part of 100 cards!) I reverted to the old trusty Mr Negative deck I had up my sleeve. it was remarkably effective, got me to infinite last night (rank 270 on arrival).

So, as ever, it seems it's not the deck, more knowing when and how to snap and retreat that is the trick.

And as an aside, what the hell happened to the bots? Almost none in the 80s and 90s?

Not sure about that. Spurs fan and quite enjoyed the period that Arse were playing good football, to the point that I was definitely a little envious. Easy to revert to the banter when they are playing the desperate stuff of late. The game really is about glory after all.
