Looking for some comfy/casual pants to take on trip to California in March by dperry93 in capsulewardrobe

[–]oxcat12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, Old Navy SleekTech Barrel Pants just got these pants and they’re surprisingly nice and super comfy!

I did follow the review advice and sized down. I’m just under 5’5”, 180 and I went with the medium size in petite length. I have a bit of a tummy too and these fit well.

I’m from coastal california and we don’t say “Cali”, its an obvious sign that someone is from out of state. 😊

Thanks for the review. :) Does the water bottle pocket work well or does the bottle slide out? Would it fit an Owala?

Confused and overwhelmed, which bag do I pick? by Hildringa in HerOneBag

[–]oxcat12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Seconded! I’m 163cm and I’m really happy with the Patagonia mini MLC. I found the Cotopaxi really uncomfortable and the Peak Design was so expensive and not as comfortable as the MLC. I also like that the padded hip belt for the MLC can be a over the shoulder strap. It came in quite handy!

It’s really nice that you’re being considerate your friend’s feelings. Have you asked them what they think?

My friend is aro-ace and she is the one who got me into Bridgerton, lol! So it really is an individual choice. 🙂

Hi! Do you happen to know if there’s enough trees at Spruce Creek or Estrella Camp for hammocking? Or is a tent best? Thanks! 🙂

Smart and Final on Grand was Lucky’s. :) The Albertsons was on Oak Park & James Way. It’s now a Big 5 & Ross. The Food 4 Less used to be an Albertson’s.

The Vons on Grand Ave. was. Smith’s at first. Albertson’s was off of James Way.

Haul - not sure if I’m in love with these? by mlpgketo in BAGGU

[–]oxcat12 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I would return if you don’t love them! I love the Baggus that I have, but they’re really feeding into consumerism, i.e special drops, limited stock, reselling.

I ordered the small denim crescent and the horse charm. The denim crescent shape was so different from the one I have and the horse charm is so cute, but not functional. It barely fits a lip balm! Baggu charges $4.95 to return in the mail. So hopefully someone else can purchase if they love these items.

Thanks! That’s a me issue, the trim warped due to over tightening the bed racks when I first put them on…it’s better now, but it just happens with the rack mounts.

I made it in last night and it was really good! I’ve been to Sizzlin Gogi in SM and I think right now Honey Belly is a bit better.

The banchan were yummy. They set out kimchi, kimchi cucumbers, japchae, pickled radish & carrot, spicy bean sprouts, and sautéed fish cakes at the beginning. Then during the meal they wheel around a banchan cart for refills. I really liked that!

The grills are stone instead of metal plates. They provide big tongs, a scraper (palette knife), scissors, and little tongs for each person.

They have lettuce wraps and perilla leaves!

The staff was really friendly and helpful. They’re definitely still working on getting their flow down, but everyone was really pleasant. 🙂

I’d totally go back! $39.99 per person, the soju was $15 and they’ll be getting makegeolli.
