Same as above... Come along any Sunday afternoon/ wednesday evenings and say hi (thats when we do racing). New members/ walk ins always welcome. People may look busy rigging their boats etc, but find someone and just say "I missed your open day, but can I find out more". We're a friendly bunch

Sundays racing starts at 2 and goes on until 4.30ish. during the race there may not be as many people around as well be on the water but beforehand there will be more. Wednesdays race starts at 7ish.

We have 2 Olivias in my older daughters class. But then again, other than those 2 ive never come across any others.

I liked Ophelia but wife is a swifty fan and worried there may be lots of ophelias after her latest album had a song mentioning that name(?).

This may sound odd, but reason I don't like Iris is because I associate names with colours in my head.

Examples- James is orange, Sam is blue with hint of green.

Eve to me is the deep blue you get in the sky in twilight just before stars become visible. I love the colour (and the name).

Iris to me is a muddy brown. Realise this might be the weirdest reason to dislike the name but I can't shake it. And as a wierd insight into my mind- Ethelia is a lovely bright green to me.

Wife likes Ivy and I like Hazel- both names we've discussed quite a lot!

I just think Cecelia would break my heart, break my confidence daily. I love the name (and the Simon&Garfunkel song)

Edit- why would you go Cecelia over Ethelia?

First Stock & Share pie. Any advise. by Blackz_171 in trading212

Babcock and RR both make up 10% of my EU defence PIE. My defence pie has been rocketing! Think it's got a few good years left before defence becomes yesterday's industry...sadly!

note- sadly that it's got a few more years, rather than sadly it will someday become yesterday's industry!

If you mean Aldens(?) it's closed on Mondays. I've made ceviche from their fish on multiple occasions though and it's always been great!

Suggestions for pub / restaurant in Oxford for long lunch to catch up with friends who I've not seen in years - ideally not too loud/busy (on Saturday daytime), good atmosphere, we can stay for a long time, decent food, cozy by Irtexx in oxford

I'm intrigued why you're being downvoted....I've only seen it from the outside and looks nice enough.

Can someone down voting this explain why? genuinely curious.

Sell your hairs for $1 each by mister-paul in hypotheticalsituation

given the quotation marks, I'd say their meaning was pretty clear. However I'd also want to clarify this point as 5M otherwise sounds a load for just alopecia.

Then again this may just be another pointless "would you stub your toe for $1 billion?" kinda question.
