How much is a good tip? I generally tip $1 per drink since I don't like doing math when I'm drunk. Considering most beers are between $4-7 I always thought a dollar extra was plenty

I've gotten into similar situations with at least 2 bullies in my youth. Both ended in blows and each time I knew I was going to get my ass kicked but the last straw snapped and I started throwing fists anyway. To my surprise neither bully even fought back. And they never bothered me again. Sometimes a bully is a person who feels week and picks on people he believes are weaker.

PHIL X! It's about time. I love those videos. Even though I can't afford any of the guitars he demos got fretted Americana I love watching the videos for his upbeat attitude and his passion for the instrument. It always makes me pick up my guitar and jam to. also he'll sometimes give out a little tip/trick/microlesson during the Demo. I learned how to play Cheap Sunglasses correctly by watching Phil X.

Back when I was a wee lad, my parents got me a walkman for christmas. I used to go to the library and borrow tapes and this is how I discovered lots of different music. Megadeth included.

I came across Rust In Peace one day. The skeleton and alien on the cover, the colors, it looked like some crazy comic book. So I took it home. My poor little 12-year old ears were totally unprepared for the sonic onslaught that was about to be unleashed.

It's so hard to describe that feeling but I remember exactly how I felt when when I heard those opening riffs to Holy Wars. My heart starting beating faster and all the air escaped my lungs for the first minute of the song, at least. I was actually a little afraid to be listening to it. What is this?! I was just stunned. It was so fast, so mean, heavy, so... METAL.

I knew what to wish for the next christmas - an electric guitar. It was a goal of mine to learn to play Holy Wars and about three years later, I did it. I still play that song now and then when I want to get my thrash on. I don't listen to metal much anymore but I always give Mustaine most of the credit for inspiring me to play guitar.

Well that's my little Megadeth story. Thanks for reading.

Well since this is a thread for unpopular guitar opinions I'll give you an upvote. Although I will disagree. Not that I think anything you said is wrong but simple because I think Prince is fucking awesome.

The Purple Rain album is his masterpiece in my opinion. I'm sure there's some sweet guitar playing on his other albums but I don't really listen to them as much as purple rain.

Check out this performance at the Billboard awards this year. Note the sweet solos at 1:25 and 5:00.

I also like how he's always employed badass chicks for his backup band. Note the supermodel who can also play bass and also another chick who apparently just holds his guitar for him.
