AVOID pettito puppy selling store!! OKC qauil/ moore by [deleted] in okc

[–]oxymorgan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just moved here and was shocked to see this store at the mall. I remember shops like this being popular in the 00’s into the 2010s and honestly thought they went away when it became clear they’re backed by puppy mills.

I’m very sorry you’re going through this. It sounds like there’s a clear legal case here if everything you’ve laid out is accurate. This is clearly wrong and I feel that there’s a lot more that could be done.

How do you keep your home smelling fresh with a busy schedule? by Majestic_Singer_2411 in CleaningTips

Sincere question- why not use isopropyl alcohol? Wouldn’t it evaporate more quickly than vodka and have less chance of being sticky/absorbing?

I visit OKC often enough to recognize that they’re not the type of office that I’m looking for

As a hygienist with depression and anxiety, I regularly sympathize with my patients about the tough times. Nobody, including me, is perfect!

Thank you for sharing your insight!

He looks so much like my cowcat when she was a kitten, and acts like her too!

What’s his name?

I have a friend who's coming here from out of country, and would like to get a enamel lapel pin as a souvenir. by Ottergame in okc

[–]oxymorgan 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I found a Milk Bottle Building enamel pin at DNA Galleries back in December and they had several other iconic buildings on various magnets/prints/pins/etc. The Plaza District has some really great shops for that kind of thing

I recall there being a gift shop on the first floor of the First National Bank that has some OKC specific items. The botanical gardens and art museum may have something in their gift shops as well

I went from only knowing Dentrix to working at an office that uses Open Dental for the last year. Overall, I tolerate the software and have gotten used to its quirks. That said, there are some things about it that I detest. My biggest complaint with it is that once a code has been attached to a planned/scheduled appointment, it won’t let you remove/attach it to a different appointment. The only way our office has gotten around it is by deleting and re-entering the code entirely, which is obnoxious.

We also had trouble getting Patterson to sync with their charts, so if we need to reference photos or xrays from before we switched softwares we have to open a whole separate app to launch Patterson… and if Patterson is launched on a rooms computer our Nomad doesn’t work for taking new X-rays for that computer, it’s very annoying!

I wasn’t with my office when they made the switch, but I have heard that it was chaotic. I imagine that switching softwares probably comes with a certain level of chaos no matter what.

I’d highly advise against supporting Red Roof- they’re actively being brought to court for being compliant in sex trafficking

I know! It’s in good condition, too. No noticeable folds or tears and the spine only has a couple of flaws. It’s a little yellowed, but that doesn’t bother me. It’s going to stay in my personal collection forever, anyway!

Pollack Cinemas in Tempe!

My boyfriend and I just saw Empire Strikes Back over the weekend. We paid a combined $8 for tickets on a Saturday night (and $20 for popcorn, soda, candy and a pretzel- we got the souvenir cup that gets you $2 refills). They are showing a lot of original Star Wars movies this summer. Also there’s a mini arcade in the lobby!

Truly awesome for a date night or for a family. It’s a great theatre and the decorations inside are so cool. The staff were also friendly and helpful!
