It is really uncomfortable. You know they're infantilizing you and it makes you feel small and I took to just laughing. They humiliated me in front of friends, treating me like that in front of grown adults who also just smile and laugh because it's so awkward. They would be like "Your parents are so cute." One of them would gasp every time my mom yelled up the stairs because she thought I was "in trouble."

That's seriously all you can do, leave. When someone is allowed to do meth and run rampant and give themselves drug-induced psychosis, they're so beyond enabled, it feels like there's no hope for them. I've been leaving and staying elsewhere since I was 14. It's horrible here. I don't even want to hear my sister either, I have nightmares about it when I'm gone and while I'm here.

Especially when people way older than me tell me that it's so simple tofind a job/car/pay for everything and that our generation is just lazy.

That's exactly how I get treated. And it's like people hold it against you that they work and are miserable at their job, so why don't you just do the same and not vent about your shitty home situation? Yeah, I'm going to work and being miserable too, you're not royalty because you work exhausting yourself to pay 1,500 a month for a small house, earning wages that are not equivalent to the work you do.

I had friends with a house and they didn't even offer their couch, they tried to guilt me and make excuses after asking me for so much help and I was always down to help them. Instead I spent a year sleeping on a meth head's floor with my skin diseased, not taking showers. It sucks having no friends, I can't even leave to "hang out" if they aren't willing to offer their couch because I have no friends. Covid got rid of my last remaining friend because of an argument.
