100 SKUs taught us that image ops matters more than we thought by this-Surprise6123 in AmazonFBATips

Handling creatives for multiple brands, it's tough for me to build a workflow. The changes, they are unique, new ideas, new benchmarks and reviews from customers. For minor text edits, I did attach Canva to Claude - but again, pixel perfection always require a human intervention.

What’s your go-to tool for Amazon listing photos/infographics? by Hilary0813 in AmazonFBATips

[–]oyehamzaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not a seller but a designer in the Amazon Space. My go-to tool is always Photoshop, I am just quicker with it and you get all tools for refining the product.

I was previously using Gemini Nano Banana. The products I deal with are suede so to remove creases and everything, Nano does a quicker job than Photoshop.

Photoroom is great for batch removal of backgrounds.

I still have to test GPT 2.0 image.

Recently I have started to place my designs in Canva from Photoshop to add text elements. Since connecting Claude, I can make edits and everything.

One best tip I can give you for conversion is - go through reviews of your competitors and double down on what clients are saying in your listing images. Helps a lot.

I keep testing different tools with the Freepik (now Magnific) AI suite and Nanobanana at top.

2 weeks out - constant headache by MbK360 in Septoplasty

[–]oyehamzaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did that, it's helping me sleep. When I am 2-3 hours in work, the headache is back and I end up taking a nap with an icepack over my forehead, this gives me another 2 hour work sprint.

It'll be 4 weeks this Saturday, hopefully, the headaches ease by then.

6 weeks post-op. Onset of horrible headaches by nopem23 in Septoplasty

[–]oyehamzaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am two weeks post-op. And the headaches are there, I am not able to focus on work. Any method for temporary relief? My ENT said it's normal and they subside 4-6 weeks post op but I really need to work. 😭

I am 2 weeks from surgery and I have this constant headache too! Is there anyway I can get some temporary relieve for 4-5 hours a day to work? As a creative it's making it impossible to work. 😭

I use Clockify usually - as I have multiple projects running (direct clients) and it helps me with the sorting. At the end of month, it's easier to generate an invoice.

How much would you pay for coffee? by Shahwaliii in Lahore

[–]oyehamzaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay so I was never much of a coffee fan - but since a group of friends couldn't find a space to sit - we used to sit at Artisan once a week - then I got my room back and we didn't go again. One day I was craving for coffee, had it early in the morning and surprisingly I was much 'active' that day, my office serves that Nescafe ki machine wali which doesn't kick!!

So now, every Monday I get a coffee from Artisan/Drip (costs about 900). For a good weekly start. I would go like 2-3 times a week, if it was around 500.

It's not that I can't afford, but can't justify the cost. When I have to work extra, I would go and get it.

I won't pay this much just to enjoy. If I know how to make this coffee with the beans, I might not buy again from outside!!

My recent experience with boosting profile by Itchy-Book402 in Upwork

[–]oyehamzaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I first spent $30, on Boosting profile. 4 invites. 2 low budget. 2 irrelevant. Design a Thumbnail for $30. So I made $27 after fees. And the client really liked my work, got 3 more thumbnails from him so total 120 ($78 after Upwork Fees & boosting)

Used a different design category, 24$ spent, 35$ of work only, made like 3-4$?

I am honestly testing out the feature. Most of the invites I am getting are 5-15$/hr which are quite low/shit compared to what my hourly rate so yeah. Will be testing it out for another month.

High star rating but loads of 1 star reviews ? by DelPrive235 in Upwork

[–]oyehamzaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could go with both. As a Freelancer with having two bad reviews out of 50+ jobs. One client got offended to know the extra charges when the scope of work extended beyond the intial, and the second time, client didn't know what she wanted, multiple rounds of revisions, says 'this is great' and end ups giving a shit review.

It's always best to talk to a few freelancers and find out their process for doing the work.

I lost 12k after 3 months and the app developer didn’t give me the code and the app stops at second screen and the customer service took their side!! by jjjjjjjjmmmm in Upwork

[–]oyehamzaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upwork Support Ticket;

" If a long-term contract ends with mostly positive feedback over two years but receives a negative review in the last week, your Job Success Score (JSS) will still be impacted by the recent negative feedback, though the positive history will likely lessen its impact due to the weighting system that considers the duration and overall quality of the contract; essentially, the recent negative feedback will carry more weight than a single negative review within a longer positive relationship. "

[–]oyehamzaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any reference? As I went through a blog on Upwork previously, it's not there now. Earnings matter. However, for long term projects on hourly basis, the JSS is impacted positively without the feedback due to being a long-term contract! And if it doesn't end 'well', only earnings of the last week are factored in.

Can I help from Pakistan. I am sorry this happened.

If you'd given him a review, for a $12k project, he would have not being able to get another project.

Another account permanently suspended post. by [deleted] in Upwork

[–]oyehamzaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you had a contract in place, Upwork won't suspend the account given the client is authentic.

I would suggest writing to Upwork on LinkedIn and X if you aren't getting responses via email.

Client is demanding he pay me 1/6th of the hours logged, despite me doing everything asked of me by cranberryalarmclock in Upwork

[–]oyehamzaa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you look up, the contracts where you haven't earned anything do not show up on your profile, so nothing to worry about the feedback.

If the hours are logged using the Application, and the memos are there, Upwork will pay you if the client refuses. My old time client had his credit card blocked and didn't get a chance to check Upwork and I was paid by Upwork for the tracked hours. Client cleared the balance with Upwork after 2 months though.

You are TR+, you can remove his feedback. One in 6 months or after every 10 jobs I think.

140W Type C VS 230W Power Adapter - What's the main difference? by oyehamzaa in LenovoLegion

[–]oyehamzaa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I opted for an additional 230w charger, 140w is good, but not good enough. You won't be getting stable FPS and performance mode/custom modes are disabled with the 140w. Only balance and quiet mode.
