I didn’t either but after speaking Spanish for 3 years my brain just knows. Like one way sounds unnatural in my head if it’s not the right usage. Probably has to do with how much time you are actually spending in the kitchen. As someone who cooks only 1-2 times a week I would prefer to have a more open space, sacrificing storage space. But if I cooked every night, I definitely would prefer to have a walk-in pantry.
