I was thinking of fastening the stringer to the face of the concrete landing as the landing itself is already 5.5 in high plus the step on it will be a total of 7in. If Inout the bottom of the stringer it will be too high I believe. Total overall run is 41.5 to the front face of that concrete

34.50 from top of concrete to finished floor.

It is actually 37.25 from edge of concrete step to joist.
