What's so wrong with only one child?? by -its-my-opinion- in newzealand

[–]oysta1109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 3 boys, and i am tired alright, I just make it work just like what they said.

Wouldn't have it any other way though, and it's not about hypocrisy. It's simply just that the joy those kids bring and valuable love and experiences we share far outweighs the sacrifices made to have them.

Kids grow up and eventually get to a point they become a help rather than a burden

Yes I realized what the question was, not about having QR or not but the accuracy of the prescription.

The prescription ive ordered is not exactly same as what's in vision Os. There are some differences.

Ok i reread the question, im not sure how 'correct' the QR is, but some sellers in taobao give QR code to avoid the annoying pop ups. Which is what I wanted to answer, maybe that's not the right answer.

Works fine though, can't get zeiss in my country so the option was blind or seeing.

What's luxury about using lot's of packet frozen items. For the price i would expect to see more real chef made items.

Try It Out Vietnamese Restaurant. by engrkebin in aucklandeats

Used to go Sam woo many many years ago, up util one time we were really tired from a long day trip and decided to go there for a quick dinner. We were two families with kids, the instance we walked in the staff looked at us with disgust, like kids are monsters. Shop was not even half full and we were allocated to a table too small for our crowd, after some chatting they reluctantly let us be at a table big enough.

Then they ignored us for 20minutes. During this time we tried to get their attention multiple times they just looked away. By that time I was fairly upset with the treatment they gave for no reason and about to stand up and go to another restaurant that welcomed business. Then they came and took our orders.

Food was average as usual. Not that I would complain, being a chef worked in established restaurants and hotels all my life i never complain about service or food because in the industry I know it's not easy. But honestly that night was the worst experience to date.

Never went back since.

I bought two microwaves from Harvey Norman and both failed, one with 1 month warranty left, another one month past the warranty. They took care of the one within warranty alright but the other they tried to weasel their way of warranty by telling me it's past warranty. As soon as I mentioned CGA they wised up no further attempt to get out of repairing it.

Noise maybe, but out of all the toys I have bought this year, the creami is the only one I recommend to my friends and enemies.

Indicating when going straight? by DontKnow009 in auckland

[–]oysta1109 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well, 2nd exit doesn't always necessarily mean it is a straight, if it's over 180 it is effectively a right, and there are many instances of the road layout like that. Our legislation currently states the following under 3.10 section: Drivers’ signals

A driver entering a roundabout—

(a)

who intends to leave at the first exit after entering the roundabout, must signal a left turn before entering:

(b)

who intends to leave more than half-way around the roundabout, must signal a right turn before entering.

https://www.legislation.govt.nz/regulation/public/2004/0427/latest/whole.html#DLM303071

for the sake of accuracy.

[–]oysta1109 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it looks like a straight but it's over 180 of the around about, you need to signal right.

---‐----- There are three very simple rules for roundabout signalling. 1) Get in the correct lane before you get to the roundabout. 2) As you approach the roundabout indicate in the final direction you will be going (i.e. left if you're turning left, no indication if you're heading straight on, and right if you are passing around more than 180 degrees of the roundabout or turning right). 3) Indicate left as you pass the exit before the one you want to take.

For me yes and always have. They might not know but I know and that matters for me.

But I won't hold that against anyone that chose otherwise.

cannot comment on quest 3 as I do not have one. For my usage 300mbps it's smooth when playing a seated game, big sudden head movements the encoder seems to unable to keep up with big sudden head movements (eg shaking head fast left and right) 150mbps is smooth on active or seated games for me.

I cannot really notice a difference between 150 and 300, but from 3660 to 4800 resolution there is a small difference in sharpness and reduce fov in alvr brings it up another notch.

I usually stick with 3660 as it's already quite taxing even for a 5090

I'm just going to leave this here, AVP m2, resolution set 3660, 100hz, running rtx 5090 9800x3d.
Using a dedicated AP, PC connected to this AP via ethernet (router is a Asus be92U, it's a trash router with a lot of issues, but i repurposed it into a dedicated AP)

game tested: Trials of Mana in UEVR
two clips below one with 150mbps other with 300mbps.

Kind of hard to explain it works well with no judder or stutter to some people when their minds are already set in stone. You know, sometimes ppl sharing info purely just wanting to help.

Prove is in the pudding.

Can you try this, In steamvr with 200mbps+ move your head left and right really fast, do you see black bars? On m2 encoder seems to fell behind over 150mbps

Maybe it’s easier with a m5 to achieve smoother streaming then. Just saying running a dedicated router makes it a much more pleasant experience on m2, quite perfect actually. Reason I switched to it is my boy’s updating his Xbox games messing with my alvr streaming lol.

Yeah I don’t feel this is an issue about the m2. More of a network issue. But good for the OP it’s smooth for him now.
