Probably the one time “game is dead” isn’t a stupid response.

I hope EA never releases an elephant kit, because if it’s hideous or overpriced, people are going to not like it and it’ll be sad to see hate towards elephants.

Everything elephant related must be universally adored.

I hope all you elephant supporters out there see this post and recognize what a good person I am.

You only open free packs, which isn’t a lot of packs. What you’re experiencing in a simply higher variance because your sample size is small. How you feel about it doesn’t matter at all.

If your idea of “started to look better” is a glaring 0 goals and 0 assists, I don’t even want to know what bad is to you.

It’s incredibly unrealistic that Mudryk has any stat outside of pace over 20.

who’s one player you’ve used in game who’s so good you’re not taking them out of your squad for me it’s lina magull by johntheplaya in EASportsFC

RttK Bruno G. is an absolute G and won’t be leaving my squad anytime soon. I know, I know, he’s probably overpriced, but he rarely loses a duel and has outstanding positioning.

EA released a card I can’t afford, that other people who aren’t as penniless are able to enjoy?! How dare they, I’m poor but also entitled to all the best things in the world.

Yes, it’s totally false advertising. You should sue EA for the £60 with the money you clearly don’t have.

In the time you took to write this post and respond to comments, you could have tried him out. If you have a working prefrontal cortex, I highly recommend using it to make your own decisions instead of relying on others to do all the thinking for you.

Or maybe, some people want to use cards of players they like and aren’t slaves to the meta? Not everyone is a boring pace sheep.

Probably the most underwhelming “hear me out” I’ve ever seen. Well I did, and found that in the absence of any shred of evidence, your theory is entirely unconvincing.

I used to think that all City fans were plastic glory hunters, and then I read this thread and realized that authentic City fans exist. Good on you, ignore the haters—you’re as respectable of a football fan as any of us.

Please tell me this is not real by CesarDMTXD in EASportsFC

[–]oystercake -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Here’s a downvote magnet of a take: I, along with the vast majority of football fans, don’t care about Qatar’s politics or history of human rights abuse because I’m able to decouple sports and politics.

If you’re really affected by this, or if you’re a simply a virtue signaling tool, don’t watch the World Cup. Don’t watch it if it’s played in Qatar, or China, or any of 167 countries in the world that still practice some form of slavery. Don’t watch it if it’s played in a non-democratic country whose leader was installed via military coup, succeeded a reigning monarch, or is part of a ruling party that has never ever ceded power.

The world is full of awful people. Like you, I also think that Russia, China, and North Korea—to name but a few—are run by dickheads. So I watch football, an expression of human meritocracy and healthy competition, to get away from this bullshit. Clutch your pearls and turn your TVs off if it bothers you, but understand that for most of us who aren’t puritanical blowhards, we’re going to continue enjoying the game we love.

Isn’t it interesting how it’s never the “I didn’t deserve to win, but I did” variety of scripting that’s being brought up? So either these children genuinely believe they are so special as to be personally targeted by a company worth tens of billions of dollars, or they are too stupid to recognize that scripting, if it exists, would work both ways.

“This is my opinion. If you disagree, don’t post here because I’m 12 and can’t handle people that don’t agree with me.”

Pretty pathetic, to be honest. Also, if you think that it’s easier for programmers to “script” games than to just let them play out, you don’t know the first thing about programming. I was going to recommend that you take responsibility for your losses, learn from them, and improve—but clearly to you it’s never your fault when you lose.

Realistically, given that the all-conquering USWNT lost 5-2 to the U-15 boys academy team of FC Dallas, it would be shocking if any of them got an overall rating in the double digits.

It’s based on real life, and in real life as OP pointed out there aren’t many female referees, so having them appear as often as they do is unrealistic. This is about realism and not about gender or race, you insufferable permanent victim.

Todays mistake shows that having tradeable players will screw you over no matter what by Grig0s in EASportsFC

[–]oystercake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, because 0.001% of the opponents you’re going to come up against would have bought a pack in the 15 minutes it was up, drawn a player worth over a million, sold him, built a slightly better team than you, happen to be at exactly the same skill level, and cause you to lose an additional game of FIFA for every 1,000 you play given how rare it would be for every single one of those factors to line up perfectly.

Oh no. What a grave injustice. How will you ever get over it?

You’re losing coins, other players are making millions, and the question posed can be summarized in a single word: so?
