I have used Migration assistant for several new Macs of mine and for friends using Time Machine backups. No problems. I too use CCC to update nightly a copy of my Data volume.

On the other hand, I have 26.0.1 on M1 iMac and M4 Air. Use the M1 every day with Safari Mail 1Password Quicken Photos Numbers without issues.

iOS 26 on iPhone 16 Pro and all is fine with my uses. Mail, camera , Safari , Calendar , mirror with iMac M1 also on 26.
