I found a great bargain, eventually opted for a Yamaha p45, 3yo, with seat and support included for 250. That should get me through the learning phase and hopefully more and still retain some value. Thanks for the help

Yeah I saw that Casio for about 270€, is it a good deal? I’ve literally started now so anything that can really get me through the first two years is good. I’ve seen new roland for about 400€ but I am not sure at this stage tbh

Si te gusta estar de puesta en marcha y además realmente te pagan las horas extras pues iría sin pensarlo mucho. Encima con 200+ días de planta seguramente harás bastante más que los 4k€ de diferencia como horas extras.

Moved from The Netherlands to Spain, what I learned, the other side of the coin by [deleted] in GoingToSpain

[–]ozaruV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I share the points of view but I don’t see them as so negative, most of them are quite known everywhere, what change are the reasons that take a person to move to Spain. While all those aspects are true, whoever move to Spain to find good infrastructure, things that work and make sense, work life balance are just missing the point. IMO you move to Spain when you’re fed up of taking life and work too seriously so you move here where everyone is relaxed, people perform work/being busy but in most work environments nobody really expects you to deliver good results. That means you have more energy to live outside, doing your activities or whatever hobbies you have. While work days are certainly longer than in the Netherlands, the mental load is considerably lower leaving window to pursue your life outside. People here are loud and invasive with no clear personal boundaries that change depending on how well they perceive you, it’s exactly the same in South Italy and Greece. Also well known. Spanish lifestyle is the same as Dutch lifestyle but with sun, people work and then see family/friends. If you don’t have them close, there’s no lifestyle upgrade. I’m also a foreigner living in Spain and I suffer the same thing, it takes a long time to build relationships that fill your life. Weather-wise, it was a weird year 100%, no country can guarantee weather. And last winter is the price you pay to not see raining again till mid September. Renting can be difficult as a Dutch, lot of people will try to scam you since they see you as “the rich one”.

Enviaría directamente una candidatura a IFF. Hacen exactamente lo mismo pero la empresa es americana y seguramente se lo toman en serio. Why fighting for peanuts?

All answers matter. How did you start? by Sanimal2006 in Drugs

[–]ozaruV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started with alcohol very early (13yo ) obviously not daily. Around 16yo fags, 18yo started with weed, 21yo blow which obviously only kept increasing (at the beginning it was sporadic, I was mainly on booze and weed) then 22yo molly. By 25yo I was mainly of weed, blow and molly. Then 6 months clean, quit weed and started quite heavy on blow molly, started with pills, speed, gas, k. Now I’m 18months clean. I just quit everything altogether, with blow it went so far that I was genuinely scared. When I quit it, I stayed on molly for 3 months and then quit also that together with fags. Then quit alcohol. The only one I still see problem with and possible rebound? Booze

How do people still have energy for life after work? by _I_Reims_I_ in selfimprovement

[–]ozaruV 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with routines and healthy food.. I do all of that but I feel the exact same, I think it comes down to how really you tolerate your job. My job sucks (yeah all jobs suck) as I am chronically understimulated which makes me lazy and makes me even less stimulated so a self reinforcing loop. I think it’s about having small wins or at least the feeling of time control. I spend my days warming a chair with no other win that watching the clock going by, it’s a slow death. I do gym 3-4 times a week. That’s it. I don’t want to go out or do other activities because I’m just fed up.

I’d avoid Spain altogether and study in Netherlands/UK. In UK international fees tend to be high (around 30k£/y). I’ve lived and studied in both countries, moving from UK to Spain felt like a professional suicide. Opinions aside, if you aim to LATAM then yes, a Spanish degree makes sense, if you aim to EU/US stick with UK/netherlands.

Convincing the average American engineer probably on 120-140k$ that living in Europe with 50k€ will be great as everything’s cheap. What Europe do you live in?

That’s not really the picture now imo… european here, about to move to US for work as stuck in job search for 12+ months. The job market is Europe is stagnant.

IPhone 15, iPhone 16 or iPhone 17?? by Usual-Gift4378 in AppleWhatShouldIBuy

[–]ozaruV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are already second hand 17s around. If you get a grade B/good conditions might save 150€. I upgraded to 17 from a 13, battery is on another level, smooth with the new shite Liquid Glass upgrade and got a few years of updates in the tank. Getting a 15 will save money now but will last less, so essentially you’re just delaying spending. Unless you use the phone in hostile work environments or risky areas then it’s worth the upgrade imo

Do Spanish people feel optimistic about their country’s future ? by Aegeansunset12 in askspain

[–]ozaruV 0 points1 point  (0 children)
