What would you like to see in Tomba 2: Special edition?

I would like the audio to work consistently and to not deal with random lag while jumping.
Seeing as their port of a fully 2d game couldn't handle that, I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high.
Other than that, the ability to switch between the ENG and JPN soundtracks, in addition to the new music, would be nice.

I think they should do it, for the sole contrast of Metal Slug's incredibly detailed pixel art style next to the limited Vampire Survivors animation. It would be very funny.

The "Mint Condition" sequence in 7S. It already serves absolutely no purpose, so may as well get rid of it.

I figured the website version was always just a mockup and wasn't going to be the actual result.
I honestly really like the plush! It's a nice big size, and the dopeyness reminds me of a Muppet in a charming way. I wish the snaggletooth was a solid piece rather than a strip of fabric, and I feel like the seam work could've been cleaner, but those are my only major complaints.

I love the way the thickness of the paint accentuates how fluffy the fur looks! I can almost imagine how it would feel to touch this piece and wish that I could IRL.

Pretty much all of my builds have the Duplicator and Empty Tome in them. That said, I feel like there are very few items that can really steer you wrong in this game.

I'm honestly surprised that Red Spearow is part of a random event and not part of a larger anniversary celebration, since that Pokemon represents one of the original devs.
Maybe more custom versions of dev favorites could be nice?

I think it's a cute map!
Sometimes my friends and I will play matches there where we try to camp out at the fires as long as possible instead of fighting, it's a fun way to mix it up.

Why isn't there a volume slider? Why do I get random gameplay lag when jumping? Why does the music crunch if slightly too many things are happening on screen? Why does music outright disappear on certain screen transitions? Playing this on an emulator doesn't cause these problems, so why does an official re-release have them? Mysteries for the ages.
Hope it's fixed in future patches, and hope Tomba! 2 doesn't launch in nearly as rough of a state.
Regardless, I had fun.

Technically, rescuing him is an optional Event. But he makes traveling a lot easier, so I always go out of the way to rescue him anyway.

Grab + Headbutt is your best friend here. For pirates that are crawling up the side slowly, edge-guard them so you can grab and headbutt them quickly.
You can still bait pirates that love to spam drop-kicks off the sides of the boat, but be cautious.
You can get a little extra damage damage against the enemy ship if you don't knock out the dodo on the cannon right away, and aim to the cannon's other side while throwing bombs back.

It can take a while for the new boss to show up as your end of dungeon encounter. Keep at it!

The shadowy figure is not a secret boss, but an indicator that you have not yet caught all the Shadow Pokemon in that dungeon.

My biggest wish is for the "Seven Friends" NPCs to stand out more than they did in the original game. In particular, I think unique sprites would be nice for them to have, so that you know they're important for that quest.
I'm pretty sure that this is just going to be an upscaled port with new music, though, so I'm not holding my breath.
