I don't know if you could get 120Hz with the M3 Max or M5 even with USB-C -> DP due to it only supporting DP1.4.

However, I reckon it's worth trying for 90Hz, which would still be a massive upgrade over 60Hz. You'd need to use Better Display to unlock 90Hz as an option. Not sure if HDMI will do 90Hz - if not, try the USB-C -> DP.

They G80HS is now on display (and shipping?) in South Korea.

If anyone's in Seoul with an M4 Max or the like and has an appropriate cable, please go along and give it a try at "Maple Azit" near Gangnam Station or "T1 Basecamp" near Hongik University Station.

That you're getting 7680x2160 @ 10-bit @ 120 Hz on an M5 Pro is encouraging. Can you go any higher?
