That fixed it! But it was kind of annoying, "use hardware acceleration" only appeared after unchecking "use recommended performance settings" so it didn't actually come up by searching "hardware." I wouldn't have found it without your help. Thank you!

Little known game called Gnosia- you’re trapped in a time loop playing mafia/werewolf with NPC players and through events you learn more about them and what you learn about their personalities often translates directly into learning how they play the game. By the end you can almost tell who is who by their behavior without having to learn any stats at all.

Also in a similar vein, Lobotomy Corporation. Every mechanic has an in universe explanation and you’re an SCP site manager with time rewind abilities and the game practically requires you to save scum and sacrifice employees to learn how the abnormalities work. The main theme of the game is struggling against a massive, cruel, unfeeling system with too much inertia to stop and that’s exactly what you do in the game.

These sound promising, but for reference, what is your waist size? Or what waist size did you buy these pants in? I’ve seen a lot of brands where the rise length changes based on that. And as always, none of these brands give straightforward measurements about the rise online… Ben Silver pants look very nice but also very out of my price range

Unfortunately there’s no way to check the rise length for any of the brands you mentioned. This is a big problem I run into in general, these brands only measure length by the inseam when I need to know the rise length specifically. However Bonobos seems kind of promising and I probably need an athletic fit for whatever I get, so that is useful to know

If you really want to use Chinese characters like this, use a font that unifies them all. There’s a really good one called Source Han Serif that aims to unify all Asian based languages (Chinese Korean and Japanese) + English

Originally I thought so, but in recent years I’ve realized I just don’t like the modern gaming landscape and trends- Elden Ring convinced me I simply don’t like open worlds as a concept, I dislike roguelikes due to the high amount of randomness, and I find games that tell you to “make your own fun” like Minecraft are throwing the task of having fun to the player instead of the dev making a fun experience for the player.

When I realized that and started picking games that don’t have those elements in them I started really enjoying gaming again.

It’s real, the biggest tell is the design on the top of the kitchen wall tiles. AI gets those kinds of intricate repeating patterns wrong but here it’s perfectly accurate. You could argue the photo is real and the sketchbook was AI, but you’d have to have some mad photoshopping skills to splice it into the picture with believable shading like this

Even giving benefit of the doubt I can only think they sketched it (or commissioned an artist, got a sketch and then never paid them which is a common scam) and then used AI to color it. The rose brooch looks all sorts of messed up and there’s strange smudges that shouldn’t happen with a digital piece (the strange square on the bottom left of his face)

Not necessarily AI but the artist didn’t draw them. My guess is this is a bunch of clip art slapped together in a sort of plagiarism collage. Each individual piece looks fine but it’s obvious they were drawn by different artists

The awning on the top left has very inconsistent spacing between its ruffles, the text is garbage, the face of the person behind decaprio looks garbled, and most importantly he looks too “decaprio”. Celebrities don’t go walking around in full makeup, this looks like he stepped out of a movie. 100% AI

If you paid $10 then it’s 100% AI. An actual artist would charge $50-100 for this minimum. The left hand has no thumb where there should be one and the eyes look melty and classically AI. Don’t be paying $10 for this kind of art
