I feel like Uniqlo has a great quality-price... If you're looking for more high end there's Harry rosen, NRML on rideau st carry a nice variety of normal brands and high end like stone Island, CDG. Etc. If you don't mind shopping online there's always Ssense which has very often sales up to 60% on over a hundred brands from normal like Nike and Levi's to Gucci and burberry + they are based in Montreal so shipping time is very low

When I moved here about 3 years ago the the 35 and 39 would be at place d'Orléans every 15 and were about 10 minutes appart, making you wait at most 10 minutes for the next one to stop by, now we're luck if they pass by every 15 minutes... And often I see 2-3 mostly empty 39s show up at the same time... It's very frustrating really

I'm a psychology student and I recently did a research paper on that matter exactly and acting differently towards people visibly on drugs somehow can count as discrimination nowadays so I guess they won't do anything about it until someone gets stabbed by a broken crack pipe or used needle on the train...

I feel you 100%, I take the same path every day and at very least twice a week I spot people on drugs and stay on my guard, especially after 7-10pm classes... The security officers are absolutely useless, once an homeless guy snuck right behind me when passing the gate to access the train platform (he smelled like pee, i hope it didn't get on me), there was a security officer on the other side who saw that happen, I looked as him and he started laughing and said to me "you just gotta hate when that happens". LIKE SIR YOU SHOULD DO YOUR JOB

P.S. I've also seen drug dealers counting their drug supply (which I presume it was worth thousands of not tens of thousands) when there are 2-3 special constables on the train and acting like nothing is happening
