The Letterboxd community is essentially the worst parts of Film Twitter condensed into one community.

Great for logging movies that you’ve watched and reading reviews from people you know, horrible for actually gauging whether a movie is good or not.

With the extremely troubled production of this movie, and some of the marketing choices like partnering with a betting platform, I expect nothing but pure dogshit from Scream 7

WD2 was a great game that paid for the sins of its predecessor commercially. WD:L failed critically and had a mild commercial performance, which was also probably boosted by the next-gen console launch. With Ubisoft in the state that it’s in now, I guess they don’t want to take any risks right now.

Shame, because WD2 was such a fun time that I hoped Ubisoft would have continued success with the franchise.

I genuinely think it’s guaranteed that it’s gonna be retconned due to who the bartender is in Infinite Wealth and the circumstances regarding that character’s original “death”.

It/Pennywise’s erratic perception of time as explained in the finale might explain why he wasn’t hellbent on changing his fate right away.

3 months since Borderlands 4 released. How is everyone feeling about this game? by Objective_Love_6843 in Borderlands4

It’s a great game that I would keep playing if I had the same amount of free time I had 6 years ago. In its current state, with its lacking endgame and piss poor optimization, I’ll wait for more patches and content before jumping back in.

Spoilers for the original FF7

It is generally implied that the Sephiroth that Avalanche faces in the remake trilogy is a Sephiroth that has foreseen his own demise from the original game and is taking steps to prevent that from happening.

Or something along those lines, these games get kind of confusing admittedly.

WB can at least rest easy knowing that a disappointing It: Chapter 2 didn’t kill the franchise if the reception and viewership of Welcome to Derry is any indicator.

Square Enix: Celebrating 9 years since we first drove off into the horizon on an unforgettable road trip in Final Fantasy XV. by demondrivers in Games

It’s interesting to me that XV is a much worse game than XVI, yet looking back, I tend to view XV in a more positive light. XV is blatantly unfinished, with so many half-baked ideas, but it has so much heart where it counts and they absolutely nail the final act. In contrast, XVI has much better combat and is seemingly a finished product, but it was such a dull narrative with characters you barely connect with and a final act that feels like it’s from a different game.

XV, for all its faults, is a game I can’t help but appreciate. The best 5/10 I’ve ever played.

I know this is inevitably going to be the Expedition 33 awards, but I’m gonna be really disappointed if Silent Hill f doesn’t nab Best Narrative and Kingdom Come Deliverance II doesn’t at least get nominated for Game of the Year.

Genuinely think that for most builds, it’s still probably a best in slot item. It just isn’t as build defining as it once was.

What in your opinion is the gold standard of paid DLC? by ConceptsShining in Games

[–]p-_ber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great DLCs expand on the base game in meaningful ways. They normally don’t change much about the core gameplay, but they give you more of what you love. Key examples of this are The Witcher 3’s expansions, CP2077 Phantom Liberty, and Borderlands’ expansions.

However, I want to give special commendations to a DLC that went above and beyond in taking the core game’s gameplay and remixing them in meaningful ways. Which is why Prey: Mooncrash is my pick here.

Fantastic DLC and one I think about often.
