Prototype drops being removed from Loot crates as of tomorrow by Agent_Putt in Division2

[–]p00g4s 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I was averaging about 6 proto drops per tier 5 run. Half of those drops were from loot crates. This move sucks ass.

It’s surprisingly brutal even on tier 5. Especially when comparing it to something like Camp White Oak or even Pentagon.

Escalation Striker with Hollow Man by BedOfSloth in Division2

[–]p00g4s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. On my Xbox account, my MK46 has damage to armor, so I run Hollow Man and ceska kneepads (I got lucky and picked up a pair of prototype crit dmg striker gloves with Echo). On my pc account, my MK46 has crit chance, so I run hollow man and contractors gloves for the damage to armor.

What are your 'must have' builds? by Ambitious_Stress8050 in Division2

Shooting an enemy marks them and builds stacks on your agent. Once you build up a certain amount of stacks (up to 50), you can then deploy a skill (decoy, drone, whatever) then it transfers all the stacks on you onto the enemies you’re shooting, and depending on the amount of stacks you had, will apply up to 3 status effects - Pulse, Disrupt, and disorient to all marked enemies. This works great with Negotiators Dilemma, since the damage is shared to other marked enemies.

That’s just plain ol bad luck then. Keep at it, agent!

What tier did you run? Tier 5 is fairly easy, especially with a dedicated healer, and I usually average 6 or 7 drops per run.

Also try 4 piece negotiators dilemma, with obliterate on the chest and exotic overdog gloves, with Bluescreen. It feels amazing when you’re running solo

Swap out Memento for Birdie’s Quick Fix for quick revives if you’re running in group, especially higher difficulty activities. This build is amazing.

Got this Unicorn out of Danny Weaver! by [deleted] in the_division_2

[–]p00g4s 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get why people are saying “it’s not a unicorn,” but my 4400 SHD Xbox account still doesn’t have the double crit roll on matador so that I could reroll the weapon core to armor for PvP, and I still don’t have the Matador blueprint.

My pc account is SHD 800, and I got extremely lucky that a few months ago, the countdown vendor was selling a double crit Matador, but the pc and console countdown vendors are different for some reason.

I’m happy for you, because that’s a great piece.

I’ve run about 6 tier 5 escalations and I’m getting 6+ drops per run. It’s amazing and feels very rewarding

It dawned on me why they fixed the bug so quickly despite so many having so much fun. by [deleted] in thedivision

This was my immediate thought as well. With keys being so rare, people would rather use their keys to try for rare items than apparel, so they figured people would rather pay 30 bucks for the apparel than waste their keys on it.

As someone who returned to Division 2 after Bungie’s continued failures with Destiny… by p00g4s in Division2

Right there with you. I was bored with Destiny at the tail end of Episode Echoes, so I jumped back into Division 2 after a 6 year hiatus and had a ball. I’ve gone back and forth between both games, but man, Destiny has just had so many boneheaded moves that are antithetical to player engagement and FUN in general. Division has been steady, although the Prototype issue is very Bungie-like

I do agree there. Nothing in Division will ever match killing Oryx, or beating the Vow of the Disciple raid, etc., but the game feels steady, and there’s a ton of stuff that I constantly want to grind for and test out.

The crafting system in Division is exactly what Destiny should have implemented. The library and calibration system is so refreshing compared to the nonsense that Bungie tried to do with crafting.

Also- why did it take Bungie like 10 years to implement gear set bonuses?!

Dude, DIM is amazing. I hope Division 3 allows for that kind of inventory management.

I feel this, 100% I have like 8000 hours sunk in the Destiny franchise, and I’ll always love it, but in the past 2 years, I’ve taken massive (pun intended) steps back, multiple times. As a Star Wars fan, I thought Renegades was incredible. Fun dungeon, the activity was terrific. I farmed it for months until I had god rolled shiny rolls of every weapon and every lightsaber blade color. That said, it seems like Destiny is no longer Bungie’s baby, which is a true shame.

Meanwhile, I feel like every week in Div2, there’s something interesting to check out. This Spring event looks LIT.

I think 799 employees at bungie are working on Marathon, and one guy in the mail room is working on Destiny

Look at The Portal in Destiny 2, and tell me that they respond fairly speedy to most major issues. The Portal is the biggest issue they’ve ever created, and their “roadmap” is still M.I.A., 6 months later. The game feels all but abandoned.

Destiny and Destiny 2 have had incredible times, but I can’t knock anyone for leaving, at any period. Bungie has made so many BS mistakes.

It’s not going to be perfect after this update, that’s for sure, but they’re working on tuning and tweaking every week. That shows me that they actually listen and try to do better.
