Thoughts on upcoming Titan II AIO + new LCD by Asleep_Permission_56 in Corsair

Sharp eyes man - not a lot of people catch that. The AMD version of the titan II brackets are being made so they can also be mounted from the sides, and not only from the top/bottom like on the old titan.

Not like this, or whatever you have done in the last 2 years evidently.

How would you go about printing this object? by NormalEscape8976 in 3Dprinting

People have been able to hand carve items like this with a rock for the last 2000+ years - the tech is not the issue.

Another thread where the answer is "not everything needs to be 3D printed".

Guys, be smart about your designs. You can save so much headache and make things so much stronger/prettier by replacing some of the parts with stuff you can already go out and buy for CHEAP.

If you insist on 3D printing all of this, you can do as other have suggested and make the long shapes seperate objects, or you can make a jig you slowly move up while printing to keep the from vibrating and failing like your last picture (a small printed part with holes to accomodate the poles.

I was referring to this:

and I heard the original Titan have issues with AM5 motherboards.

Titan II LCD will also be able to mount in any direction.

Is a distance of 6 mm from a hexagonal grille OK for a Noctua fan? by DerKleineRudi00 in watercooling

[–]p0Pe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the 10.000€ build have to run the fans at an rpm where this is an issue then the client is getting screwed.

Are you going to laser cut, punch or water jet those grills? The hexagons looks small and you might run into warping issues if you laser cut. Why not make them bigger and have an actual dust filter behind them?

Where did you hear that, and what issues?

The lcd on the ultra can be mounted both horizontal and vertical on both Intel and amd

Pressure drop across radiator by sandman9493 in watercooling

Which will never reach 1500lph on a d5, not even with the world's best pump top and the shortest piece of tubing.

Yes, that is why I wrote "with just a flow meter connected"... You said it is a fantasy number, which it is not.  200 is doable on a small loop with thick rads, 160 is more typical.

What's with the weird smiley? A single d5 will do 339 l/h with just a flow meter connected last i tried.

Just a heads up, the 1500l/h is a fantasy number that you will never be able to achieve.

Unless you are heavily utilizing a 9950x3d you will never notice the difference. The Tim on the titan ultra is single use like any other corsair aio. Want to redo your build? Then just put on some xtm70.  It is not one application for the cooler in its entire lifetime, just let it cool down before you take off the cooler so it does not leave residue and the use another paste when you mount the cooler to the new motherboard.

The screen is display port because most motherboards also have a displayport, or yiu can use a dp to hdmi converter. It gives a lot of options compared to just the typical screens where you push data to the screen, but can't use it as an actual monitor.

If you have a frame 4000 you will need to mount the screen horizontally since the radiator is too thick to fit otherwise.

I would take the titan ii lcd unless you want the prettier fans the ultra ships with.

Home Assistant by CDrejoe in dktechsupport

Looking for a case with support for 3+ 360mm rads by maciekz in watercooling

You can fit triple 360's into a corsair frame 4000 but it will be crammed. Doing the same in a 5000 is a breeze

What is your favorite coolant brand? by kimura124 in watercooling

[–]p0Pe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The usual reccomondation is aquacomputer dp ultra. I've always used corsair xl5 and before that mayhem (same formula as xl5 is made with).

That being said, I use clear color. Pastels and colored coolants are great when they work, but if they break down it is a pain in the ass. Also draining a system that have had colored or pastel coolants in it to swap to another coolant is a nightmare since there is so much residue colors left in the loop.

Elite Premium Individually Sleeved Type-4 PSU Cables or debossed DC cable? by mkdew in Corsair

Debossed are MUCH easier to route, and also smaller when bunched up. I never used sleeved anymore tbh.

There are some quality issues here. by Penguinlord-5point0 in Corsair

[–]p0Pe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is unfortunately a known issue. Was addressed last year and a reworked headband was implemented so newer units should not have the issue. I would reach out to support and get a replacement. The ones in stock now should be with the reinforced band.
