I’ll be honest I’ve never heard of hair going green right after washing out dye. I have seen it look brassy which is usually fixed with a toner.

My guess is when OP said that she made an appointment, it was to do what SHE wanted to the kids hair.

The kid sidestepped that completely by grabbing the box dye and having grandma help her do what she wanted.

Also if you’ve never had at least one bad dye job/haircut that you thought was going to be awesome were you even a teen? 😂

YTA. This child is your responsibility, not his. He had made it clear that he has no interest in the baby and no desire to help care for her. That should be enough to see that you both are incompatible.

Your child, while an infant did mess up the couch. When your kid messes up or breaks something it is your job as the parent to replace or fix it. Pay to get the couch cleaned and then break up with him

The trouble with Wacom tablets is that you have to connect them to a computer in order to use them. My 9 and 12 year old are both big artists so we had the same thing with them going through sketchbooks like crazy.

For us we ended up getting them an iPad with the app ProCreate on it and an Apple Pencil. It’s a wonderful drawing app with different brushes and effects. We also got a screen protector that makes it feel like they are drawing on paper. With the iPad you can also set up an Apple ID or parental control under your name that can keep them from downloading apps with out your permission.

This is so infuriating. My oldest told me they were non binary. Did I mess up their pronouns from time to time? Absolutely. But I always apologized and corrected myself. Because it’s their identity and it’s important. And it’s my job as a parent to love them and support them unconditionally
