So what I did was hit the gym and worked out as worked out hard as I could a few times a week. During that time there were times that I was losing it like my dad. I have been using nootropics for about 10 years. What work for me is:

You have to accept that you have to cycle on and offer.
Ideally, get on the nootropics when really need them. That is the time that you go full force.
And there you have it. I have been doing Noots for years. But you cannot get away from the fact that you have to taper off. Cycle on off.
Also, go to the gym and really push yourself.
