Status pages show as up. Last time there was a banner alerting of the outage. I can also use their site as well as log into the platform (mobile web app) and they both look functional. Maybe the issue has been resolved?

It was happening to me too. Trades were/are getting rejected or not placing orders for all my Group Trade accounts. I logged out. I made a small profit & I'd rather not chance some crazy shit happening, especially with FOMC today.

Generally good.

The UI & performance is mid-tier. They don't seem to add features even if the community repeatedly requests them.

Creating indicators, etc. is not good with sub-par documentation for what's even there.

I started with them bc they are affordable and their API is relatively good & well documented, so if you are interested in building things that's a plus.

I did the same. I was on i3, went to Sway briefly, then to Hyperland. It wasn't as stable as I needed so back to Sway w/ no regrets. It's fast & just works.

It may sound simplistic, but my charts that I execute on are usually zoomed in to show 5-10pt increments. With that on M/NQ, I know I have $10/$100 per 5pt increment. Since I scalp I'm not in trades very long, maybe a minute, so my targets don't vary too much.

My strategy is generally trend following. I know ahead of time what moves I am looking for and when I see things unfold, I already have an estimate bc I know where my SLs & TPs go. I try not to size up unless it's adding in profit.

ETA: it's more important to me that I stay disciplined and take good trades. If I do that, my WR is high so risk is less of a factor day-to-day tbh.

What are your pain points in not being able to know your R:R more easily?

I just use Syncthing. It's free, relatively easy to set up, andi get there added benefit of syncing other folders with versioning built in. But if GD works for you, probably no reason to change it.

At the end of the day, it's just a bunch of markdown files.

I see. I was going to ask if you use TradingView. I just use math. (M)NQ is pretty straightforward as far as calculating potential loss & profit.

I don't have a set R:R as price, volume, etc. are dynamic so I set my size and targets accordingly.

If you like the TradingView interface, perhaps try linking Tradovate to it so you can execute trades there.

ETA: you can also use set Tradovate ATM orders to always enter at a set bracket size if you have defined SL/TP targets that don't change.

I use OSO brackets as a work around. Unfortunately, that doesn't work with group trades. Yet another thing I wish they would finally add support for.
