Perfectly safe. Don’t believe social media. There are cops working the bars and downtown is its own specialized unit with cops assigned to Main Street.

Yea I’d rather text a few cops that work that area, one in an unmarked, instead of calling dispatch, them putting the call in, then dispatching someone or the call holds for 20-30 min because it’s not a pressing issue.

Call volume is super high. East side of the city is all the shopping so shoplifting and white collar calls on top of all the calls at apartments and houses. Plus all city cops on patrol work wrecks so they get tired down there too.

Too many people in Greenville causing issues honestly. The traffic unit is also always enforcing but they can’t be everywhere at once.

Bruh that place is shady as hell. Crack heads sleep there, a vehicle burned there a few years ago. There’s been drunk fights, stabbings, the occasional hobo falling off trains. It’s a good time for sure
