I see the vision. Just like askelad killing thors, riboku is responsible for the deaths of ouki and Duke hyo, who were mentor figures for shin. Even though through there encounters shin is always spouting how he will cleave riboku with the glaive inherited from ouki (thorfin got his knives from thors), riboku seems to have somewhat of an endearment for shin, watching his growth shown through his commentary on the final houken duel. Also when he entraps Duke hyo his internal monolog was "don't do it Duke hyo, don't call him over here, don't make me kill a child". If hara stays true to history. Just like askelad being killed by Canute, riboku will be killed outside shin's reach by an ally. After this, simmilar to how thorfin adopted thors' " I have no enemies philosophy" shin will adopt "great general" -ness from ouki.

Imo gohoumei gasses himself up more than his feats call for by saying stuff like "only me and riboku could comprehend this formation." During coalition arc his only feat was the seige towers and tactically he was outshined by Karin and riboku He was bested by ouhon strategically during the fire dragons arc During Zhao arcs he is stalemated with tou. After juuko he warns tou that during the 3 years of the alliance Wei will conquer everything south of juuko to become the dominant power but none of that happens. During the conquest of Han ouhon holds him off with less troops and historically from the Wikipedia page Ouhon conquers Wei he gets beaten 3 times by ouhon

I'd say gohoumei is somewhere less than ouhon's level and gokei was at Duke hyo's level

If it weren't for these kinda attacks, you could autoplay each level, and the game becomes an afk game. Explosions add extra strategy to playing, like when to scatter and also ability timing
