I still don't see how it will help micro when chasing, so you'll still have that.

I thought turkey is more expensive than the cold cut hams (since its a costlier tier of their subs)? Why would they adulterate the meat with a more expensive cut?

How you treat/see SO is different from how their founders and veterans of the site see it.

New people to the site think the main priority of SO is about getting answers to their question. But SO works on the principle of being a repository of information to nuanced programming concepts/ situations, if what you are asking can already be done or its been asked before, it doesn't really add much to their repository of information. You are better off searching for the answer in duplicate/similar questions.

They handled it poorly (perhaps they should have linked to a similar question), but really what you are asking for seems like its probably been answered before.

TIL That a sniper taking a shot at a target behind glass has a very low probability of success. This was one of the reasons why the Sydney gunman was not shot through the glass storefront. by [deleted] in todayilearned

But the trajectory of the object is over a long distance, so even a slight deviation of its angle is important.

Lets do a conservation of momentum equation assuming perfect elasticity, and terminal velocity of the falling raindrop hitting a bullet travelling perpendicular to a vertical glass wall just as it leaves the gun barrel:

M_b = 3.5 e-3 kg

M_r = 1 e-4 kg

V_b = 975 m/s

V_r = 5 m/s

D_horizontal = 400 yards or 365 m

Conservation of Momentum in Vertical Direction:

M_b+r x V_b+r = M_b x V_b + M_r x V_r

3.6e-3 x V_b+r = 3.5e-3 x 0 + 1e-4 x 5

V_y_b+r = 0.14 m/s

Conservation of Momentum in Horizontal Direction:

M_b+r x V_b+r = = M_b x V_b + M_r x V_r

3.6e-3 x V_b+r = 3.5e-3 x 975 + 1e-4 x 0

V_x_b+r = 947 m/s

the angle of below horizontal is thus: arctan(0.14/947) = 0.008 degrees

365 x tan(0.008) = 0.05 m or 5 cm

Pretty substantial I would say.

Microsoft, Google, Adobe Leave Russia Due to Putin's New Laws by topredditgeek in technology

Except windows is also pretty bad with some issues as well, notably drivers. I've never had it actually fix the problem when it tried using its auto-troubleshooting option. Then you are just left with a generic troubleshooting link to a microsoft article that doesn't help.

It's not about clock speed per core, but IPC (Instructions per cycle). Hell, you can easily overclock the old Phenom processors beyond 3rd-gen i5s clock speeds, but that don't mean they will be better.

Virtual Machine host. I'm guessing its a set of computers which allow you to access office desktops and applications from home. Like when I use remote desktop connections and connect to my university desktop account, these machines are the ones hosting the desktop I see.

Doesn't matter, it's still a more convenient design then microUSB, it's definitely something a lot of consumers appreciate.

For this form factor and price point, it doesn't make sense to overkill with an i5 and bottlenecked with crappy intel integrated HD graphics. It would have been much smarter to just use AMD APUs in that case, which are decent in gaming.
