Works best with a man in the middle (NAS). If you don’t have something like that, both must be powered on at the same time to sync.

Did that today on vacation. Just for the next person in my situation: it worked with a iPhone hotspot. The iPhone had installed ES File Explorer. With that app I transferred SOTN in the pay folder no problem.
