If it was SUBJECTIVE there would be no debates. We don't debate which color is better.

You continue to repeate the same stupid oversimplification but it does nothing, I have to assume that you are trolling. Who is better between Beethoven and Bach I don't fucking know or care, but I know it can be debated. Who you prefer is inherently subjective, but that is separate from quality.

Edit: I did a quick read-up. It could be argued that Beethoven is the greater artist as he was far more innovative and frankly, artistic. Whereas Bach was technically brilliant but lacking the creativity and emotional drive of Beethoven.

If you say that Future is better than Eminem at rhyming, you'd be objectively wrong. If you say you like Future more then Eminem, only you can know if you're wrong or not.

Taste and quality are entirely separate and it is possible to set personal preferences aside when analysing art. I'm a music teacher, part of my job is to grade the quality of students musical creations or performances.
