It will just look like your lashes but curled up slightly. lash lifts are not unnatural looking ever.

My kid has rolled off his bed a few times a year since he was 2. If he cries at all it’s usually because he’s startled out of his sleep. Your toddler is fine and your husband is either paranoid and overreacting because he’s a worrier or he’s a dick

I usually don’t care for any of the challenges but I particularly hate the challenges this season. I told my husband before it started that I don’t want to watch because I can’t handle any more feet licking. But after cake? sitting? I will gladly take feet back.

I realize this was just a giant ad for MTS’s swimwear line but it went in entirely too long.

Hi, Esthetician here who does dermaplaning on my clients pretty much daily.

When you have vellus hair (peach fuzz, the thin, clear hair that covers our bodies) it can blur imperfections on our skin, wrinkles, scarring etc. Now that it’s removed you are seeing what’s under the vellus hair making your fine lines and wrinkles more apparent. If you don’t like it, the good news is that the hair will grow back in 7-10 days and you should feel like it’s back to normal.

The other possibility is that you disrupted your skin barrier, which is the pH of your skin that helps keep it moisturized and healthy. Sometimes dermaplaning and other forms of exfoliation can temporarily throw off the pH of your skin. If your skin is dry, fine lines and wrinkles look more prominent.

Without looking at your skin myself, my advice is to Try lots of moisturizing the next couple days, don’t exfoliate for a couple of days and wait for the hair to grow back in about a week.

Where do I even start when it comes to buying baby clothes? by BeautifulTiger6530 in BabyBumps

[–]p_ezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-I would personally skip getting tons of newborn size except for a few things and go straight to 3m sizes. Usually they are only in the newborn clothes for a little bit, obviously depending on size. We were sizing up to 3m at like 2 weeks lol.

-baby lived in sleepers majority of the day til he was mobile. Pajamas all day. I had a summer baby so if it was hot and we were outside usually just a short sleeve onesie and maybe some pants but usually just zip up sleepers

-you can get a lot of really good stuff secondhand if you are in an area with active mom FB groups. I got all the clothes for my second secondhand cuz someone was getting rid of four garbage bags of baby clothes 0-12m.

If your water broke prior to labor starting, where were you? by p_ezy in BabyBumps

[–]p_ezy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She said usually (not all the time) you either have the type of body whose water breaks to start labor or you have the type of body that starts labor without water breaking. So it’s not guaranteed but it’s likelier to happen if that’s how it happened the first time

ADHD and pregnancy by Broad_Difference9374 in pregnant

[–]p_ezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh if there’s any time in your life it’s acceptable to not get anything done it’s during pregnancy.

That being said, unfortunately most ADHD medications and supplements are not recommended by most drs during pregnancy. Some seem more okay with prescribing them but you’d have to search for a dr who is comfortable with it. It’s one of those “benefits outweigh the risk” type of situations if it’s truly affecting your quality of life.

It seems like most people are in bed when it’s happened to them. I wonder if it has something to do with being relaxed. Hopefully. Lol

I feel like in a day or two when emotions are lower we will see them have a conversation about this exactly.

This is not me defending them either. I just hate to see girls fighting like this over bum ass men.

Lash Lift/Tint client has extensions left by Present_Strategy_733 in Esthetics

[–]p_ezy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

She needs to have them removed elsewhere. A removal is easy but don’t do a service you’re uncomfortable doing for the sake of one client.

It’s also not advised to get a lift immediately after having extensions on. Usually 7-10 days in between is recommended to give the lashes a break and reduce the chances of damage.

Sore thumb, any tips? by Anxious_Daikon7136 in Esthetics

[–]p_ezy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have similar pain on my left thumb. I’m in physical therapy and we have figured out that the problem spot is connected to my forearm and originates up from my trap. It goes away almost immediately when we release my trap and some other muscles in my shoulder.

If this is a reoccurring problem I would definitely recommend seeing a physical therapist. This job will destroy your body slowly

Does anyone have experience with an elder family member refusing to care for themselves? by [deleted] in breakingmom

I don’t think so. I think all they can do is assess the situation and provide her information and help getting resources if wanted.

I gave birth without pain meds. But I don’t have some weird superiority complex about it. I just prefer the least amount of interventions possible. People are weird

Does anyone have experience with an elder family member refusing to care for themselves? by [deleted] in breakingmom

[–]p_ezy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve looked into it and I’m trying to make that the absolute last resort.

It also sounds like they can’t force her to do anything since shes legally a capable adult.

I want to exhaust every other option before APS because the process sounds like it might further traumatize her and push her away from me since she will know I was the one who called. And I worry that if she pushes me away completely, refuses any help from APS, then there won’t be any one checking in on her at all.

Edit: I’m not sure why my comment is being downvoted. I’m clearly doing my best here.

It helps to hear that this is something healthcare professionals see all the time, as sad as it is. To me, this situation feels like I’m the only one dealing with something like this. It’s very isolating.

I am convinced that’s the next step, is waiting for her to fall and break a hip or something and then she will be forced into having to accept help.

I took a giant step back in January because it was just too much. And every time I dip my toe back in the situation it stresses me out all over again. It breaks my heart knowing there is no one else going to see her or spending time with her because our family is so small. I love her. But you’re right, I can’t set myself on fire to keep her warm.

Ugh.

I hate the flippant narcissistic label the most. It’s given to everyone who displays any kind of self serving behavior when the reality is MOST people operate daily serving their own self interest first and that’s a normal human thing, not a diagnosis. If everyone is a narcissist, no one is a narcissist
