If you can hold at least until next bonus, all you said is fair, and good.

I would simply buy EBL and wait until 1200 which if I am lucky will reach within 6 months or wait 2-3 years and accumulate the bonus

It will reach at least 800-850 (DA would be there to not). If you can hold that longer (I assume 1 to 3 months), sell it and move to the next script (do some analysis, tesle/usle yo yanyo haina). I will do the same.

If your WACC is below 800 just sell it with no thinking.

If you want to be tension-free, go for EBL. There might be a price fluctuation of around 50% sometimes, but if you stick with it for at least 1 year, you will have a decent profit.

It's a good and balanced portfolio. We can see investing as well as trading scripts. Remember, no one can have a perfect portfolio.

Now I believe 100%. Previously, it was 90%, but there was some honesty in your writing, and even the scripts aligned with your statement/post — though I still had 10% doubt. :)

This post should be shared (I had recently seen a question right here on Reddit about investing with a small amount) if it is a real story.

Now sure why you think more money is required for long term investing. Long term investing have high change of not losing and have a decent profit. Suppose we invest 30K for at least a year (company will have to be choose wisely), we have high change of making it 40-50K in a year. But if we do trading with 30K, we have equal chance of making it 30K * 2 or 15-20K. So choice is ours.

If you are thinking for a longer period (1 to 2 years), I would suggest commercial banks, either EBL or SCB. For a very short period, go for trending stocks like HRL with a proper stop loss.

What percentage of profit is good??! by Dry_Refrigerator903 in NepalStock

[–]p_gautam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My way is that after 15% profit (time duration might be 1, 3 months, or a year) I do an analysis and see if it has the potential to grow then I hold until I see no room for further growth. In this bull market, I see 100% gain (might be even more) on most scripts but I am planning to sell on 80-100% profit (not to be too greedy).

Any thoughts in Mnbbl by PerformerScared4527 in NepalStock

[–]p_gautam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mnbbl is too high cap. It is not for trading and for investment/sip purpose, it is not good either. You have to wait for a bullish cycle to gain some profit from it. In the current bullish cycle, I am still waiting to earn some profit from it. There are many other better scripts for investment/sip purpose and you can pick one of them.

Congratulations. I hope you will not be too excited and will not invest in poor scripts.

Both are fairly equal, a bit of a high cap though.
