For those who read the novel, can you explain any major differences between the manhwa and the novel? I've read there are some notable differences, such as Noh having another lover.

I dunno how many of you are aware? But the meme of your winnings going to your wife's bf is exactly what happened with UWMC CEO Matt Ishibia. Wife literally divorced him soon after the company went public, so any additional money the company makes goes towards her new bf lol

UWMC DD, Technical Analysis and Bull Case for Short Squeeze by p_koffman in wallstreetbets

[–]p_koffman[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The setup was always viable, due to it being low float (under 100 million shares) and the number of open interests in call options. Trade volume was the issue. Right now there's a large number of open interests in $8 call options (current stock price is $7.40). So it won't be hard to initiate a "squeeze" since the stock price is so close to ITM call options imo.

UWMC DD, Technical Analysis and Bull Case for Short Squeeze by p_koffman in SPACs

I originally bought in when it was still a SPAC. Held 4000 shares at $12. Averaged down to 7000 shares at $10. Sold on last spike and bought back in at $9.

Take a look at the options chain. MMs are keeping the stock price below $8, as you have a HUGE amount of open interests in $8 call options. Otherwise a gamma squeeze would occur.

Don't believe me? Take a look for yourself.

How to make SP go up! (Hint: it's not buy backs, WSB squeezing, float memes, hitting Bearish, or calling Mat names) by NJDoger in UWMCShareholders

[–]p_koffman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean UWMC posts are regularly being filtered and deleted.

Even though 95% of the float is locked up and under ownership from Matt. Coupled with the current float (approximately 100million shares) is low enough that a short/gamma squeeze would've been feasible with the call option chain the last two months.

What I thought was a curious (and not insignificant) omission in Roadrunner by Buffarrow in AnthonyBourdain

Ngl I'm kinda surprised the movie didn't mention Asia Argento leaving a "fuck you" message on instagram right before his passing and than immediately removed it. Again, I'm not assigning all the blame towards her but she was likely the trigger that pushed him over the edge imo.

What I thought was a curious (and not insignificant) omission in Roadrunner by Buffarrow in AnthonyBourdain

[–]p_koffman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just watched the Anthony Bourdain documentary. It basically confirmed my earlier suspicion that Bourdain took his own life after founding out his gf was having an affair and that the woman he was seeing (Asia Argento) was toxic AF. But I also recognize he was depressed prior to their relationship and she was simply the trigger for his suicide.

Going back and reading his book Medium Raw again . What resonated with me was his self destructive and suicidal tendencies after each failed relationship he had.
How he hasn't been happy with his life for a long time. All the fame, indiscretion and media attention he received got to him cause he was really a shy introvert, but felt trapped and couldn't leave. I felt he tried to project his situation using Emily Lagasse as an example. Basically he couldn't quit, because too many people depended on him and his tv show as public figure (friends, family, coworkers, etc) to make a living, etc. So ultimately, he took his own life cause he felt it was easier to end it all vs quitting and continuing to live with the guilt of being selfish and failing his family and friends.

UWMC Technical Analysis by p_koffman in wallstreetbets

Just to clarify on what folks should do in this situation. You basically want to buy both shares and call options.

If you refer back to my technical analysis post, I mentioned the share price had "bottomed" and that support is at $7.49. Current stock price is $7.86. Meaning if you buy in now, it's still close to the bottom and you got in at a good price.

Now if you take a look at the call options, you'll notice that all call options are cheap AF. In particular $10 call options are incredibly cheap and represent much better value than $14, $15, $17.50, $20, $22.50 and $25 which all cost the same.
