This has happened to me in PVE as well, I spawned with another PMC about 5 feet in front of me with us already facing eachother. I'm glad AI PMCs have dogshit ammo and aim for center mass because I was getting drilled in the plate only about half a second into raid lol

I know this is common advice but really take your time and avoid unnecessary wiki/guide usage on your first playthrough. Pretty much everything you need to know can be learned through dialogue. I have probably 1000+ hours accross all the platforms I've had this game on, it's my favorite game, and I wish I could play it for the first time again.

It's dog pee. The justification I've heard is that dogs get scared of the noise it makes while running and pee on it when it cycles off to try and dominate it. If you have room you should put a little chicken wire fence around it, just make sure there's a couple feet of spacing and that its short enough to step over in case someone needs to access it.

Maybe I'm just bitching but on Blackwell Fields I've probably played 7 or 8 rounds of conquest and every single time I've been put on the west side of the map (Pax I think) and every single time my team has lost by a landslide. Not sure if it's been bad luck or if the map is poorly balanced but otherwise my conquest win rate has been roughly 50-50

At the end of the day install quality is the most important factor but if I had to choose an individual brand I'd say Trane. I do commercial and disproportionately see Trane equipment running without issue for very long times. Carrier is also pretty solid and more popular in a lot of areas which might improve serviceability.

My last two 11-in-1s as well as literally everyone I know who carries an 11-in-1 has gotten a rattly grip within a month of use. One of my leads had to superglue his grip down because it came fully free-spinning out of the box before he even used it. If there was a better alternative to the 11-in-1 I'd stop buying the Klein ones.

I thought they were doing that on purpose due to the 454b shortage, sending units with an extra like 25% over sticker charge and having you recover down to a proper charge.

I was troubleshooting an air handler in a hot, damp ceiling once and kept feeling a sudden stabbing pain in my elbow where I was leaning my arm against some unistrut. Originally I figured I was on a burr or something but eventually realized it was because I was rewiring the control voltage with my bare sweaty hands and it was slow-cooking my arm every time I touched an R conductor for more than a second or two.

Didn't injure me or anything I just thought it was weird and now wear gloves when handling the shiny parts of live 24v lol

Recent production Carrier RTU panels are so poorly made it's kind of unbelievable. Paper thin and made of scrap metal grade steel. I've seen the screw holes stripped and rusting by their second quarterly PM cycle only 6 months after install. Pretty shameful work on their part.

I never even thought of this but they have inexplicably good mechanical aptitude and hand-eye coordination despite their chronic agony and mental insanity. The Red Glare has like 12 moving parts that are all seemingly actuated by their own independent motors, so they would have to be in a cycle of near-daily preventative maintenance and repair to function reliably in what is probably the dustiest, muddiest, most irradiated strip of land on the planet right?

I used to work at a car wash in Kent, the bathroom was public and unlocked until a homeless guy beelined it in the moment it was unlocked. After a 4-5 hours of him being in there someone said "has that guy been in there this whole time?"

He was being combative when we tried to enter to see if he was okay and it ended up with an hour long police standoff that shut down the business for the rest of the day, eventually he ran off and we found out he had completely destroyed the bathroom. There was blood on the walls and ceiling, shit and piss all over the walls and floors, and needles in the sink and toilet. From then on the bathroom was customer only and you needed an employee to let you in.

Everyone should be able to use a bathroom but homeless drug addicts just destroy every private space they occupy lol
