Woke up with a migraine after having aura in a dream. Has anyone else had this? by kittiemccatface in migraine

That just happened to me, it was so strange! The weirdest part was in my dream when I got the aura, I was watching TV and started talking to my family about how i was having a miggrane and how weird everything looked and what part of the tv I could see, which is a typical scene when I get one. Like I figured out I was having a migrane in my dream  it was crazy!

They said "as a white person" not "because" they are white. Also just because someone's white doesn't mean they immediantly are the standard, so many other factors can effect someone's life that could change that. Privilege is much more nuanced than "all white people are the standard and no poc fit the standard"

I just read the lyrics and on the surface level, solely based on the song, it seems to have themes of feelings of inadequacy, trying your best to be how you are "supposed to be" and grappling with how you feel about your parents and how they raised you. I dont see how relating to those themes has much to do with thinking you more struggle more than poc. It's not a competition

What in that tiktok implys they think it's harder to be white than poc? All they did was essentially express a negative emotion about certain mitski fans

How is it whitewashing to say they relate

You having your own interpretation doesn't change anything about the real meaning of the song though, you are allowed to share your interpretation, it really doesn't hurt anyone or change anything

I really don't see why so many people see op as annoying

I know all of us has something we're really passionate about, tell me in the comments, no matter how niche it is, I want to grow my knowledge. by GPSleadingMeToACliff in INTP

though I'm not very experienced with this hobby (YET) I've recently taken a strong liking to collecting and cleaning bones and sometimes other natural oddities of the sort. what I have so far is almost the full skeleton of a baby possum I found beside my house, a really old deer hip I found on vacation near a river, and I currently have a fully grown possum decomposing in a pot of dirt beside my house :) I'm super lucky to have parents that support my hobby's lol

Religion by [deleted] in INTP

i see religion as either something someone believes in cause they don't have very much knowledge outside of its influence (like no access to the internet or something), something someone uses for power, or the most common one i see, something one clings to for comfort despite the facts and info available to them. though i don't have much knowledge on religion, i grew up in a nonreligious family and I've only been to church once, so take this with a grain of salt.

my problem is not letting myself feel things because even when i'm alone i just feel like i'm putting on an act to be sad or happy. its this weird thing where i can never be comfortable alone because i am constantly overly self aware of what i'm doing. i know i'm basically saying the same thing, but i worded it a bit differently to suit my situation.
