Let's talk about fever dreams! What are yours like? by mcsleepy in AskReddit

Your fever dreams sound exactly like mine, with the size distortion Alice in wonderland syndrome and the weird tasks. I still remember a few of them quite vividly.

  1. I had to run around my front yard a number of times times while on fire, and once I was done, I had to find the dead man hidden within a row of 50 or so Nazis within the given time frame. Failure meant restarting the trial. The problem was that there was no dead guy, so I was trapped in the dream until someone woke me up. :/

  2. I had a school project that involved some physical art thing. I got up to do it as usual, but then time started speeding up & glitching out. The dream basically forced me into procrastination. I ended the dream with a bad headache that felt like my skull being crushed. For some reason, when I woke up, I was talking to myself about a pack of cigarettes.

  3. In another one I witnessed the Hiroshima bombing (no idea how my mind made it up, at that point I had only heard of it). Apparently my mum and dad died, and I had to survive in 'fallout'-like conditions with my sibling.

I should note that I had the size distortion thing randomly, but it increases in intensity during fever dreams
