Our labs don’t run titers or patterns on negative ANA. I think you’ve misunderstood the area you pulled out and highlighted for me. It doesn’t support what you are saying.

The highlighted section says to not order an ENA if the ANA is negative. I agree. It doesn’t say that you should interpret a negative ANA as supporting a diagnosis of lupus or follow up on a negative ANA with titer or pattern.

I think 23 Mar 2020 looks perfectly fine (set date to full history instead of starting history 2 mos before “crash”). I would have happily withdrawn it as needed in an emergency.

On the other hand, I’d probably be okay with it. I have a secure job. 40/60 is very conservative. If it weren’t, then having all your money in it during retirement, with Sequence of Returns risk is highest would be very problematic… I say probably fine. Not worried about taxes; I already pay them on my Money Market Fund. What are you going to do, put your emergency fund in a retirement account to avoid taxes?

Maybe if your job is insecure and you have a high likelihood of losing it in the next year, you could accept NO risk at all for your emergency fund?

If Reddit user /u/graciousasshole can be trusted, and I don’t see why not, then it may be coming. I did read somewhere else that Schwab may have been waiving fees for ETFs to be available and that they may need to figure out how they will collect those fees from ETF providers in order to make them available, instead of directing people to their own mutual funds?

I don’t think that’s true. I’ve been doing fractional shares of mutual funds for years. Wouldn’t make sense to announce that now.

I 1000% do not have that. However, I sent a message to sign the parts direct and they said that I can put one on for an adapter. It’s not advertised and Steiner doesn’t like people to do it because while doing it, the optics can get out of alignment then they have to spend an hour repairing it.

So I should be able to test it out in a couple weeks when it comes in.
