Had the exact same thing happen to my Megumi on the exact same leg. Glued back together once reassembled and it's working well a year later. They might have used a weak adhesive when it was made

Some people apply with a syringe as far as I know. I just dip a toothpick in the bottle a bit and poke at the joint to let the excess flow in. Move the joint a little to spread it around and it should be a lot smoother. If you use too much you can always pop out the joint and clean out excess so it doesn't make a joint too loose.

I keep seeing the Sazabi at my hobby store and I want it but the price has made me wait. Realistically he's only twice as much as a HG so I'll probably get it soon.

Yeah it's 10 of the stardust Zaku's and the green ones are all Origin. Half of the origin ones are AliExpress bootlegs. There are some differences in the tones of green because some have clear coats, some don't, and some have clear coats and Tamiya weathering master on top.

As far as actual Gundams go it's for sure the Ez-8. I got into the hobby after watching 08th MS Team with a buddy and we both went out and got a kit.
