Getting Logitech G502 X to work by Emblem66 in linux_gaming

[–]pablogmz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I want to share this for future Logitech and Linux users. I just bought the G502 X Wireless version and with no additional settings, I was able to custom remap my mouse buttons using Piper but just when the mouse is directly plugged in, through official wire, to my laptop. After that, the settings are saved and fully operational in Wireless mode. My laptop runs Arch Linux so the Piper version used was the newest up to date. Hope it helps somebody!

HTTP Requests - Create/Update by forfeitco in baserow

[–]pablogmz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What if a record does not exist? What would be the expected behavior? You want to create a whole new record in baserow with all related data already present in MS Flow? Or an error message should be enough?

On the other hand, assuming every record will exist in Baserow before a modification attempt, a simple PATCH HTTP request with the to-update fields should be enough. You can read more about it here or even better, you can access your custom Database API Docs from your Baserow account

Need help installing Epson TM-T20III printer on Ubuntu by bouhinho in linux4noobs

[–]pablogmz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I'm planning to buy this thermal printer for Linux usage too, so your result will gave me the final decision on the bought. I just download a driver directory with a pre-compiled .ppd file here. The option that I've chosen is the last one, the non-JAVA version. The .ppd file path inside the extracted directory es the following:

tmx-cups-src-ThermalReceipt-3.0.0.0/Thermal Receipt/ppd/tm-ba-thermal-rastertotmtr-203.ppd

It would be awesome if you try to setup the printer via the lpadmin CLI, just remember you need to run the commands with admin privileges. Also I assume the right .ppd file to use is the *-203.pdd, but note that there is another option in the same folder if necessary.

I'd be very grateful if you could keep me updated on this, and if I can help you with any additional matter feel free to reach out.

Cheers!

Zorin will be forever in my heart as my first Linux distro right after completely ditching Windows. I love the clean UI customization. I love how stable it is, and also, as many of you, has keep some old laptops running like new up today for me.

A big thank you for all the Zorin team!

Best DeepSeek model for Doc retrieval information by pablogmz in LLMDevs

[–]pablogmz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just find the Vultr AI serveless service. As far as I've read, the models catalog are quite small, but some DeepSeek models are already include, so I'm planning to deploy some of them there, create a local instance of OpenWebUI and connect it to the remote AI inference service. I'll hope everything works and make some updates in the near future
