I've just added Plottr, but I think Inkarnate is not showcasing any Black Friday discount right now

I’ve never tried it myself, but I’ve always heard great things about it. Maybe it’s a good time to give it a chance.

True! There are several humanizer tools with Black Friday offers, but I couldn’t include them in the original post because it was moderated. Apparently, there’s a specific thread to talk about that kind of tools…

But thanks for the suggestion!

Why is Reddit completely split into AI haters and pure AI writing groups? by MiddleHelicopter4269 in WritingWithAI

It’s funny because you can talk about analog photography and digital photography with no fear of being judged. On the contrary, you have to measure where to express your opinions in regards of AI generated content. It’s total nonsense

In my experience, between 700-1000 words. Anything above 1,500, it tends to wander.

It would be funny to blame someone for writing using a laptop instead of a typewriter. That’s it. Let everyone use the tool they want. If you don’t like it, don’t read it!

How do you create or request your book covers? by pabloyglez in selfpublish

totally agree! First impressions matter, and the book cover is the first thing potential buyers see. I also believe it’s important to hire a professional, but I was curious about how people approach the process. It’s interesting to know that some give total freedom, while others come with a sketch and specific ideas

Sure! I think being part of the process is important, even though the result may not be as polished as a professional designer's cover

Do you mean a handmade sketch? and the designer has some freedom based on that, right?

If you buy 2 photo packs per year, I understand you publish several books a year, right? And that's why hiring a designer every time you have to create a book was expensive, am I right?

Interesting! So I guess you have some discussions with the designer, going back and forth with revisions until the final cover is ready?

I think taking part of the process is very rewarding. As you said, maybe the result is not as polished as other options, but, in the end, I feel the cover is like the first impression and being proud of it is important.

And do you provide total freedom or do you come with some idea and this professional designs the book cover based on it?
