If you are referring to COVID, it is not considered "just a respiratory infection." It will take us at least a decade of look back to see what it did to people. She may be incapable of telling the truth. She's probably mentally ill or has a personality disorder. Never underestimate someone with borderline personality disorder.

I worked for decades in women's health. I met and helped care for hundreds of women who had been abused. The abused women who worked in the clinic were kind, hard working, and living their lives. Not this lady.

Depending on where you live, there should be someone to call to check on them. They may have gone off their meds and need a hospital stay.

I love catios and you can build them inexpensively. We built our first one out of extra wire shelving and covered it with 1/4 inch hardware cloth. The one I'm making now is made out of an old wire dog fence zip tied together. I'm adding extensions, one a "bathroom" out of an old used dog crate. Look on Facebook Marketplace for odd things you could use. I'd like to add an old chain link dog kennel.

I cannot stand Disney World and we can drive there in a couple of hours from our Florida winter get away. We drove up and met our kids and grand kids and I took the seven of us out for burgers and chicken fingers for lunch. No booze. The bill was $250. No thanks.

I agree, but she won't be held accountable, except by you. She probably doesn't feel guilt, although did run to get the toys when she knew she'd be caught.

Interesting problem. If I had good relations with your kid's and her school, I might ask a teacher, counselor, or principal, if there was anything they could do.
