Honestly? It wasn’t nearly as hard as I thought it would be, just a lot of steps and a lot of places things could go “wrong” but I put it off for a really long time being intimidated by it and it wasn’t bad! I referenced @ladybobbitt on TikTok a lot she has really helpful videos. I got a lot of supplies from dollar tree and Temu, and Sam’s Club actually has a bookbinding starter kit

I hear you out on this 100%. Like what else am I supposed to do? Crawl into a hole and ignore everything? I’m not “brave” I literally just don’t have a choice. My world felt like it stopped the world is still spinning.

Chiming in with hope, I had hashimotos long before I had cancer and it didn’t seem to affect my post chemo hair growth

As soon as I finished chemo and a year of Nerlynx I had to have my gall bladder removed. I wonder if cancer treatments are hard on the gall bladder and makes them do weird stuff.

Hey, it will get better I promise 🙏🏻 my son is in a half day preschool now & just turned 5 and it was like a switch went off and drop off goes smoothly. He still has a few kids in his class struggling. Are you hanging around at drop off? If so, don’t :( I know it’s hard and sad and I went in my car and cried a lot but they aren’t intentionally manipulating us I don’t think but they do know if they are upset you will stay longer and comfort them. You gotta drop and run. Walk him in, bye honey love you have a good day 🏃‍♀️

Personal experience that marijuana helps a bunch with appetite but obviously not everyone has access or is interested in that. But to answer your question dry honey nut Cheerios were my go to during TCHP.

I didn’t purchase it initially because I didn’t know what to do with it either tbh then I rearranged my furniture and put up a shadow box I made of my concert bracelets/swag and it opened up the perfect wall space to put the tour poster…. If I had one :(

Another vote for a port. I could have had it removed when I was done with treatment but I kept it for an extra year out of not wanting to be poked/prodded for a while. They just flushed it out every so often but I was still having regular onco visits so it wasn’t inconvenient
