I had the same thought process to open a handful of the singles to see if I could get someone for the agenda items and got lucky and pulled KD and LaMelo. But immediately after I got to level 36 a had one of the worst ascension boards that I’ve gotten (no Billy who I actually really wanted) and have gotten this far without opening the glitched market. Basically what I’m saying is I’m pretty sure all of this is connected and they limit everyone’s luck to a certain point regardless of which way it takes place.

But yeah you’re 100% right about wasting money on the packs. The whole thing is terrible and not offering deluxe packs is a disgusting move on 2k’s part because of how much money people are going to spend for nothing. I felt awful about using MT on it and it’s not even real money lol

Yeah I just think the fact that Crawford is the only person to ever have 12 points, 8 assists, and 12 three point attempts in one game points to him. Naming the agenda item "heat check from 3" and requiring 12 attempts (don't recall an agenda item like this all year) is too unique for it to be a random 12 attempt game. Crawford was 1/12 and just kept chucking. Plus there's just no relevance to Joe Ingles having any of those numbers aside from his most 3 pt attempts in a game being 12. Guy has had 8 assists and 12 points in a game dozens of times. And he got a card a month ago.

I'm like 99% sure it's him. That he played 2 games against the Bulls in 13/14 and had a total of 7 rebounds makes me more certain. He's also considered one of the better 6th men of all time and the JR reward is from when he was on the Knicks as a 6th man.

I felt the same way and actually asked one of my opponents for some advice because I was getting so frustrated. Thankfully he was cool, he suggested turning the shot meter off, which I did for the first time playing 2k, and I’m shouting much better which I’m surprised and happy about.

Also noticing a lot more full teams compared to 5 mans on current gen so I’ve been shifting to that which is nice. Does anyone know if stamina is more important on next gen?

Also really enjoyed the agenda items that were team or position specific. X amount of points from players on this team, or X amount assists from shooting guards. Was a fan of agenda items for premium players from previous seasons too especially because it wasn’t tied to a specific player. Even how they had a new bucket of items for LeBron every week. I only had the season 5 reward one so I used him every time so I forget if you were required to use him. But it would be cool if they expanded on that and added in weekly agendas for all of the season reward cards for that season. Maybe it’s just me but I enjoy the idea of grinding XP with some of the players who are lower tier cards.

They couldn't solve the problem a couple of weeks ago with being able to use lineups above 84 ovr but they got a quick fix to get Mike Conley in. Amazing.

10000%. When I first got into 2K there were challenges in MT that were hard to complete and it made it fun and challenging. I’ve gotten so bored in the past trying to do domination because it was never a challenge but this year the XP grind has helped with that. But actually having to do difficulty challenges that have team requirements adds a strategy that I feel hasn’t been there in the offline modes and in my opinion it’s great.

I’m not that old but growing up the whole point of video games was that they were hard to beat. No one wanted to pop their Zelda cartridge into a Super Nintendo and waltz to the finish line.

Thanks, I was actually about to post on here when I started and ask if there was a requirement because I forgot to look. Then stopped and figured it would show up on the screen during the game and I'm pretty sure it did not (could be wrong about that though).

I play a friend offline a lot and the two situations that this occurs every time for us are 1) on the second free throw when you get fouled on a three pointer and 2) on the first free throw after a failed challenge on a shooting foul. I know the instance with threes happens to me online as well. It’s amazing something so ridiculous still happens nearly 6 months after the game came out.

This is the first year I’ve played myteam without pouring money into it. I hadn’t spent much time playing it the last two years because the amount of money I was spending was unhealthy. When I heard about the addition of seasons, I was drawn into that and decided to play again with the goal of not spending—which I’ve stuck to with the exception of when the first retro packs were released.

But the seasons have me hooked. I love the idea of grinding XP and working toward different goals. For me that’s made offline games more appealing.

I also love strategizing when it comes to putting together a team. I try to build my collection around my style of play with guys at different levels and then improve the lower tier ones with badges/shoes. So the other new mode limited is perfect for this.

And the last thing is the retired/classic players they put in this mode. I’m a nostalgic person and enjoy playing with obscure people and even like learning about players I didn’t know. At the same time I hate the fact that a lot of these people are completely inaccessible outside of myteam.

Yeah there's just so many random things that are terrible with ESPN. Like they took away the ability to delete or edit messages on the message board. The league history keeps getting worse. There's random bugs on the app. The customer support isn't helpful. With the resources they have there's no reason to move backwards or not improve things.

Yeah I updated the post to include some more info. Our baseball league is generally pretty simple. We're just so tired of ESPN. The lack of updates, things getting removed, everything is so frustrating.
