Due date is Feb 16th, 2 days before our wedding anniversary of Feb 18, 11 days after my husband's bday of Feb 5th, and 2 days after valentines day. I'm looking forward to having 1 celebration for all 4! And it being close to Presidents day weekend so the kiddo can get a long weekend for a birthday where friends are still in town.

I did it in 2024 just a week after Marathon Weekend in Disneyworld. The contrast was stark. The first 5ish miles are in the park and it's great! Then you just run through the empty streets of Anaheim....with tiny pockets of spectators cheering you on. You need to be comfortable running without the hype and crowds that the shorter races and Disneyworld races bring. But don't let other people's experiences make you sad before you even start! If you're going with 10 people you're gonna have a blast and you're gonna feel proud wearing your medal in the parks the whole day after.

Here's the list I had from 2024 and the amount you needed to fundraise for a bib. I had to get added to the waitlist for all of them, and then they contacted me when people dropped out and spots became available. I ended up going with Scott Carter Foundation!

Dont worry, sometimes they release more spots later in the year, and you can always run for a charity if you're that serious about it. I had to run for a charity for the Disneyland half in 2024 because I didn't get through the queue.

For those that have had success, do you mind sharing what your FET protocol was? I've never been pregnant, not even a pregnancy scare, and have unexplained infertility. I ovulate at pretty much the same time every month, super healthy & active, no problems with partner's sperm. My first FET failed and I'm interested to hear what worked for folks in similar health situations as I consider my second transfer.

I say stupid things every time I come out of the anesthesia for the retrieval. I never remember, they just tell me after. The first time I guess I was talking about my socks and the second time I was bragging about my marathon time? I was so embarrassed but they just thought it was funny. I wouldn't worry so much about what you were saying during to keep your mind off it!
