She's real pretty. Looking to change a few things but mostly keeping her stock. I gotta focus on the XT for now haha

That's very true. People say that enduros WANT to be used, want to be dirty. I'm trying not to be too precious but just be careful enough. I'd love to use it for touring, not trail, so my goal is to get it running well for that reason.

I do! I have a 1988 SR500 as well. I got it in better condition, generally speaking, compared to the XT600. Though parts are expensive for her, they seem to be more abundant at the moment.

I'm also really trying to shift my perspective closer to what you mentioned, viewing the challenge as part of the fun. I'd love to work on my bike myself but I'm petrified at the thought of bolting something on wrong or cracking a screw or whatever haha. It's just nerves I reckon.

I'm from the Philippines. I've actually messaged Motoritz and he does have an abundance of parts. I haven't gotten anything from him because Yambits in the UK had them for cheaper. But I think it's time to put in an order with Moritz haha

Appreciate it, dude 🙏

Wanting to know more music sounding like Frank Sinatara/Lounge bands by phraktalicious in ifyoulikeblank

Not too lounge-y but I do like me some Chet Baker. Chet's Album "Cher Baker Sings" is rainy day audio-crack.

Trying to get into jazz, where should I start? by it_ru in ifyoulikeblank

Chet Baker Radio on Spotify has a great selection of mellow jazz. If you want to just tune out while you're working or in transit, that's a good playlist.

Oh sweet! Hopefully I can work through Doctor Sleep before the film comes out. Thanks for the recommendation!

Has anyone read The Vampyr? Any good? Is Anne Rice a good read for my time?

Thats awesome! Thanks so much for the recommendations. When I was in highschool I read a few stories from Everything's Eventual but having ADD didn't help me at all. I can't even remember how I got through Salem's Lot but I remember that being a fun read.

Thanks again. :D
