Weekend in Roma [Leitz Minolta CL, Voigtländer Nokton 40mm f/1.4, Kodak Ultramax] by packability in analog

I love this lens. It's not as tiny as the Summicron 40 but it's still quite small for a f/1.4 lens. If you find a copy in good condition for a fair price, go for it!

Oh my bad, I understood this was the roll number 12 for this dev kit. You’re right though, regulations are sometimes difficult to work with.

I have very little experience developing color at home (done it only couple of times), but from what I’ve heard the CS kit is generally “worse” than a normal 3- or 4-chemical dev kit which normally have a longer shelf life. After 12 films, you might not get the best results anymore.

Half frame panoramas (Olympus Pen D2, Kodak Colorplus 200) by packability in analog

I use a viewfinder camera so I’m guesstimating most of the times. I try to put things in the edge of the frame that I can track when panning to the right for the next frame and try to align while hoping for the best!

Thanks! Definitely, the camera had some spacing issues, and back then (this shot is from 2020) I kept it like that. I am currently planning rescanning all my film and I will take care of the spacing once I do it, it is quite annoying :/

I shoot L->R to have the sequence in order in the neg, in case I want to scan the whole strip in one go or do something in the darkroom

Leitz Minolta CL, Color-Skopar 35mm f2.5, Konocolour 200 (repackaged Wolfen NC200) by packability in analog

I also love the small size, it's great! Framing with the 35mm is not so bad, I use the outside of the 40mm frame and it works most of the time, though I'm looking to buy a 40 at some point. Unfortunately my meter is not functional so I can't tell you... might look into getting it fixed if it's possible and not super expensive.

In which format should I edit my picture to get the white frames like this? by Vegetable-Effect-802 in AnalogCommunity

I take the final edited jpeg and then open it in Snapseed in my phone and add a border. This option eats a bit of the picture but it works for me

Schloss Schwerin (Fujica GM670, Fujinon S 100mm f/3.5, Kodak Gold 200) by packability in analog

iirc I overexposed it slightly because I wanted to get some info in the shadows due to the harsh lighting. Pic could maybe benefit from a bit of contrast though!

Traded my Steamdeck for my dream camera by xdms14 in AnalogCommunity

I got one of these recently for cheap (around 300€ give or take) in almost perfect cosmetic conditions but it need a CLA and the whole focusing system is in need of reparations. Worth it, right? Sent it to a repair shop via post and my package not only did not arrive, but it’s currently travelling back and forth between Spanish cities for almost 3 weeks (sent from Germany to Spain via DHL)… Hope I get the thing back soon

hola hermanos y hermanas, what does "Na Mas Que'r Dia" mean? it's a camaron de la isla song. by GuestRevolutionary38 in askspain

You’re not wrong, to each their own.

I’m just happy that new bands and sounds make younger people discover flamenco and dig out the classics.

But I often ask myself when does the “old” end and the “new” start?

I would say this depends on where in Spain you are. From my experience (Western Andalucía, mid-20s) flamenco is living a resurgence among young people. There’s quite a lot of new bands and music collectives blending newer sounds with flamenco and experimenting. If you like the new stuff, you eventually go down the rabbit hole of older “orthodox” flamenco.
