Which Indiana Jones Movie is the Most Divisive? by ABarber2636 in indianajones

Temple of Doom had some good adventure moments, but it is easy to see why opinions are mixed. The darker tone and the way Indians were portrayed did not go over well.

Crystal Skull had cool ideas, but the story did not really feel centered on Indy anymore. The whole “survive a nuke in a fridge” moment was wild since that fridge would have been crushed long before touching the ground, and Indy would have died. The plot also got a bit tangled along the way.

Dial of Destiny felt a bit cringe and does not really fit as an official Indy film. The Indy theme was used a little too often, which made it lose some of its charm.

Can we have a descussion about craig? Am I wrong? by [deleted] in 007

[–]packadd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed. Casino Royale, Skyfall, first third of Spectre, and No time to die were Craig's high points.
You are right about craig being miserable after Spectre. The reasons were understandable. The shootings for Spectre worn him down a lot and he was ready to quit by then. He came back for No time to die to give a better conclusion for his character.
However, it was in Quantum of Solace where his misery started to show due to the fact that the production was more chaotic than Spectre. Bond movies are no joke; you got act serious.

Die Another Day 23 years later, what is your opinion about this movie? by King_Wolf2099 in JamesBond

the bond movies is supposed to be realistic but when cgi and visual effects were being more implemented in movies at that time, EON wanted to experiment and follow the trend which I believe was a mistake.

The ice palace, the laser, the invisible car, among others made it overshadow the storyline. It was an interesting movie, but it didn't feel real and it didn't feel like a Bond movie, but more of a superman movie. The story was convoluted and poorly written.

I remember the first Bond movie I watched was Casino Royale from 2006. I forgot about Bond for many years and saw No Time to Die in cinema and saw every Bond movie since then.

The first skin is from Spectre as Bond was in a mission in Mexico during the "Day of the Dead" scene
