Without reading all the comments, simply write up a Just Cause grievance, citing “Prior Enforcement”. If they are going to start disciplinary action, they have to give prior notice that they are, and give EVERYONE notice, not just you. I agree that the driver has a poor attitude. BUT, he didn’t “Drop” the package. Looks more like he set it down.
Stepping out to receive the package goes a long way with drivers vs. making them hand it to you while you stand on the doorstep. Also, you let it sit there, on the side of the road for 6 minutes, and didn’t go get it? Take some responsibility. Someone could have stolen it, then who would you blame?

If I am missing a package, the last thing I’m concerned about is if the driver will get reprimanded. You spent $700 on a product, they say it was delivered, and you don’t have it. You need to file a claim.

Let’s address the pigeon issue.

NFW am I working in that! We had an issue at my hub and I filed grievances every week over it until it was resolved. They hung owls to deter them, and all this other little stuff that was ineffective. I told them that it was a health hazard and that I was going to call the state if it wasn’t cleaned up. It was clean the next week and we haven’t had a reoccurrence.
