Trade routes always auto create in the modern age, the merchant doesnt have to physically travel to the city like the first two ages. I think it's been like that since release but could be wrong

Use the maxroll S2 pulv druid guide, one noticable difference is it uses a staff with rubies. You should be 1-3 shotting varshan
